Metroid U or new IP and call it Retro U

Who knows, perhaps he's already working on the new soundtrack for Metroid U or StarFox U.

Well, I pre-ordered at 3DS XL (at least I hope it is, lol) currently described as "Available SKU" at GameStop. It only shows "Available SKU" with retail price of $199.99 and release date of March 14th. So if you make an educational guess this will have to be a 3DS XL Yoshi Bundle, Here's hoping I'll get the one pictured on this article in North America.

I was at GameStop this afternoon, they are already taking a pre-order for a "Available SKU" priced at $199.99 with a release date of March 14th. Same day Yoshi's New Island comes out. So a new 3DS XL bundle is most likely on the way, hopefully it will be a limited edition. Bring on the Year of Yoshi!

This week Target U.S. is selling 3DS XL including the Mario and Luigi Limited Edition for $175 USD. Yes, we've seen a much lower price of $150 USD at Target. Personally, I will wait for the next 3DS XL Limited Edition. Hopefully, the WeeGee Limited Edition will eventually hit our shore.

If Nintendo keeps making 3DS XL Limited Editions, it may even outsell the DS. I wonder if we will have a new 3DS XL Lite this year?

These will hopefully hit the Club Nintendo of North America soon. Year of Rosalina would be nice since she's on most of the recent first party titles.

@shigulicious If or more like when this happens, it will be my 3rd Wii U console in 18 months. I'd pre-order this system if announce in the next Nintendo Direct.

The Wii U supports multiple gamepads (at least a second one). Nintendo needs to implement the usage of a second gamepad in MK8, SSB4 and future first party games to enrich gameplay. This allows selling more gamepad as an additional accessory and generate additional revenue.

Game support sells consoles, not! Look at PS4 and Xbox One sold millions units with a promise of games in the near future and both lack of backward compatibility support. I blame marketing and branding for sluggish sales of Wii U.

If you live in Canada keep an eye on the weekly sales at Chapters/Indigo. I got my 2nd Wii U Wind Waker Limited Edition for only $201 CDN plus tax. Chapters/ Indigo was selling it for $210 and I went to Best Buy to price matched plus 10% of the difference. You can price match from Canadian Best Buy, FutureShop and ToysRUs plus 10% of the price difference.
