Re: Runner 2 Patch Now Available To Download

@Prof_Elvin_Gadd I suppose, but my heart is never in a demo, so I can't trust what it tells me. Plus, every review I read made it sound awesome. Also, in the end I supported an indie developer on the WiiU, so I can accept a $15 donation I guess.

@Damo I have to agree with you on this one.I enjoy games that have a lot of meaning to the develpment teams that create them. Even if the game isn't perfect, the care put in usually shines through and often those titles become my favorites. I too live in PNW, Western Washington, and he is right about the inspiration you can get from this areas beauty. I wish them the best of luck, although I hope they bring to any of the e-shops, since I don't even own a cell phone and don't have a tablet.

Re: Talking Point: An Open Letter To Nintendo

I really enjoy the WiiU. I actually disliked the Wii, and I have more 360 games on my shelf to prove it. I don't mind some of these experimental things, but I would have preffered a more powerful up to date system. I saw a comment that Nintendo needs to catch up in terms of innovation, but Sony and MS don't innovate, so who are they catching up to. The fact of the matter, most people I know only care about graphics and killing humanoids online. I'm glad Nintendo doesn't follow, because I personally hate most of the crap that comes out on both the other 2 systems. I guess the only reason I would have prefered a more powerful console in WiiU is so that Nintendo can financialy stay stable and make the games I actually want to play, and make games that the "new" gamers want as well.

@goradio It is the shock of actually having new games that makes one feel like we are flooded w/ them now. The WiiU did get Need4speed, LegoCity, MH3U, and Zen Pinball2 like w/in 2 weeks of eachother. But overall, yeah, still lacking.

@Windy I never did online anything with Wii, in fact I barely played it. It is certainly my least favorite Nintendo system of all time (never owned the Virtual Boy). I just don't get the VC either on 3ds especially. As much as dislike Sony, and I do, there PS classics section is awesome in the PS store. I've only DL Sayuki Journey West, since it wa sthe only US RPG I don't own. Nintendo does need to create a more comprehemsive collection for sure.

I think this game would be a lot better remade. The series as a whole has become easier to map, and expanded the overall gameplay. My son is playing the 1st one and it actually seems quite archaic compared to EOIV. So this would be a great game to remake. 2 and 3 probably not as much. Plus the graphical improvement wont hurt, but I don't care to much about that.

Re: Talking Point: The Download or Disc Dilemma

@DePapier I think that the games I've downloaded on PS3 still work w/out my internet connected. I do know that XBLA games don't always work though, but I see your point. Every thing in the world never seems to be perfect though.

Re: Talking Point: The Download or Disc Dilemma

I prefer the physical media, but I am beginning to go w/ games digital too. A game like Need for Speed on the WiiU I am going to get Digitally, because I want to play the game, but have no attachments to it. But if a new Zelda was offered for the WiiU, i.e. Windwaker HD, I'm buying a physical copy. Glad theres both for whatever matters to you!

Definately the system I play most and I own everything current gen. I enjoy street/spotpass, the games have been fun, and there is a lot of good stuff coming down the pike. It's funny but I used to consider Nintendo for the non-gamers, but as I've gotten older I've decided I just like to have a good time. Here's to many more years .
