This clearly doesn't cover every Mario game. Considering Mario Kart Wii sold nearly as many copies as all of the Wii Fit installments combined, it's obvious that "all" Mario games, collectively, would pass Call of Duty in sales.

I'd like to point out that if there were any reason to think the Mortal Kombat games were better on the Genesis it was for the blood missing in the SNES version of "only" the first game. Aside from that, all SNES MK games looked, played, and sounded significantly better.

All Nintendo needs to do is have a video, in black, that starts with any given epic Metriod Prime tune, followed by a logo. That's all I need.

There's a large feature on this in the current issue of Nintendo Force magazine. For anyone here not picking it up, you should definitely consider it. Great magazine.

It's sad they're putting all this work into this game and don't even know who their target audience is. This game would most certainly sell best on 3DS.

Mega Man IV and V are actually better than any of the NES games, but tend to get overlooked for being Gameboy games.

I've been adamant about supporting Oddworld for many years. I don't like spending much on download titles (since it lacks ownership), but I'll gladly drop $30 for Lanning.

@Jazzer94 As pointed out, the mag isn't expensive at all (unless you're looking for past issues). $25 for a 7 issue subscription is actually pretty good.

A year after the Wii came out they stopped giving coins entirely for Gamecube games. This obviously isn't as bad.

Considering this and every installment of Skylanders has sold best on the original Wii, it'd be silly to think Disney wouldn't make the next one on Wii also. However, I'd rather they didn't. Nintendo needs to find ways of getting people to upgrade to Wii U.

No way this looks like an NES game. There's simply too much information on the screen. I'd say Insanity's Blade looks more like a Genesis title.

For me, downloading is fine when it's cheap, and low risk. As of now, downloading means we don't get to own the (console) games we purchase. So why pay full price? $15 - $20 per download is the max for me.

I'd like to point out the GBA ultimately sold over 80 million units worldwide, and only had an active lifespan of about 3 1/2 years.

Namco Bandai makes more sense. I mean, it was Namco who absorbed Bandai and not the other way around.

There is no way those screen shots indicate an Alpha state. Two of the images show nothing but UDK static mesh. Alpha is at least "content complete" even if full of placeholder assets.

@unrandomsam Regardless of the copy, this is a collectors item only. There is absolutely no reason to play this game considering what's on it and how short it is.

Fair enough, EA's been dead to me for years. I still get choked up thinking about them purchasing Bioware.

Mario Kart 8 and a price cut would surely help, but there's still too many people who don't understand what the Wii U is. I learned this first hand the other day when a friend of my wife thought the Wii U was an attachment for the Wii meant to compete with 360's Kinect. On top of that, I still never see television commercials for Wii U, so how are people supposed know any differently? YouTube commercials are nice, but television is where it matters.

This game never made sense to me as a "remake". With the way the game ends, you could definitely interpret it as a sequel to SH3.

Screw Rubin. I'd rather Nintendo dropped out of home hardware and only focus on handhelds before seeing their games on other platforms.

Hard to say these numbers mean anything. We all know Mario Sunshine didn't change the outcome of the Gamecube.

It's ignorant to compare mobile gaming with dedicated handheld or console gaming. Anyone who cares about playing games isn't going to choose a phone as their primary platform of any kind.

Phone gaming numbers are inflated because everyone owns a phone. It would be like adding gaming abilities to a toilet paper dispenser, a lot of people would be playing by default.

That last statement about the GameCube was a little Ignorant. The Gamecube had just about every multi-platform game that also ended up on Xbox. Besides, the landscape was different then too. Back then Nintendo "was" competing with Sony and Microsoft, considering the Game Cube was more powerful than the PS2 and Nintendo's partnership with Capcom to bring exclusive titles like Resident Evil.

I'd get this, but it's annoying that you have to go back to the batcave and manually re-apply the skin every singe time you start the game up.

The charging cradle was actually gone within 15-20 minutes. I was waiting for it to show up yesterday morning, checking Club Nintendo frequently. About 15-20 minutes had gone by when I checked one more time and they were already gone.
