Re: Two Samus Figures Based On Metroid: Other M Are Making A Return In 2026

@Yoshi3 the reimagining that made them multi-millions vs the reimagining that made them nearly less than an Earthbound game.
The only similarities with this type of contrarian opinion is that both parties are just saying "I miss [old thing].", but i would never go back to watching Other M after turning back to classic titles.

BotW gets boring fast but it's not the worse they done.

@Yoshi3 people were playing La Mulana, Cave Story, and Shadow Complex early last decade.

Other M however proceeded to tank on sales and reception to the point Nintendo had to keep quiet on the shameful display they presented last decade.
Ever wonder why Hayashi never got to work on Metroid again, because he didn't get to make the Metroid spinoff wanted to make. Thatt why he stuck on Fire Emblem and Zelda instead.

Re: PlatinumGames Wipes Several Games From Its Website's Portfolio

My condolences for the licensed titles they straight up wiped and stuff like Madworld and Sol Cresta, but good riddance to Star Fox Zero.
It's everything currently wrong with the Star Fox franchise, from being STILL a guinea pig IP to constantly rebooting amd retreading the first Star Fox game and still trying to salvage the second game again, a trend started by Star Fox 64.

If, and only IF, those rumors are true, Star Fox is not only still stuck in the remaster/remake/reboot/"""reincarnation""" purgatory but is going to be pushed as a TV show IP to fill in the wait for the next guinea project.

and when that happens, there's no reason to look forward for anything in this franchise for this generation. They even lost the guy who made the original designs including redesigning that one off-series character at one point, so who's gonna be there to breathe some life to the series?
Also kudos for Ubisoft for trying to salvage what was left of Zero for their little failure, though i still can't trust them enough to handle the franchise better than current Nintendo atm.

Re: Capcom Reportedly Adds Two New Members To Its Mega Man Dev Team

Zedecks

The fact they're both Monster Hunter developers might be a red flag. Yeah, Stories is amazing and they did great job on the Ghost Trick port, but they all worked on modern Monster Hunter, which doesn't reflect well with the Mega Man vision.

The other red flag is that this Amazon show was carrying a tie-in video game for Namco, so this means this Mega Man segment might have a connection to what Capcom is working on.

It could just be that rumored Mega Man movie, but what if Capcom is trying to push Mega Man into that westernizing realism tapioca almost every other franchise has fell into? What if it's 12 or X9?
Did they not remember why they shot down Maverick Hunter X?

Re: Random: Skull Kid "Clocks In" To Super Smash Bros. In This Awesome Fan-Made Trailer

Zedecks

The creator use to tie their fan trailers with existing, or his very own, mod projects.
I had to look on why the Skull Kid trailer lacks one and it turns out that he's retiring Smash modding.

I have to say, it's very disappointing but uplifting at the same time.
What's disappointing is that nothing is produced for anyone to play, especially when the trailer is trying to mock as a Smash Ultimate mod trailer.
The upside is that better and more deserving Zelda characters can be focused on, now that this little roster speculation clout video is out of the way.
