Re: Review: MotoHeroz (WiiWare)

Great review! I'm still waiting for my Nintendo points card to arrive in the mail so I can hurry up and download this game. Really looking forward to playing it for myself!

Re: Review: BIT.TRIP COMPLETE (Wii)

All that bonus content sounds really cool but I'm going to buy only one of these two games so it will have to be the 3DS version. Now if I could only find a store that actually has it in stock.

Re: 3DS Second Circle Pad Formally Announced

WolfRamHeart

I'm actually willing to give it a chance. It might turn out to be pretty beneficial for Nintendo in trying to lure more third party developers to bring more games to the 3DS and to give us gamers more and hopefully better control options. I just hope that it is comfortable to play and that it remains optional, not mandatory to play certain games. I would also like to see Nintendo utilize this accessory in the upcoming Kid Icarus game.

Re: Analogue Stick Add-On for 3DS Revealed

WolfRamHeart

To the people saying that you don't have to buy this: I think it really depends on if Nintendo and other developers will be making games that utilize this new peripheral. If this is just for Monster Hunter then people who don't want it can just skip out on it, no problem. However, if this leads to a redesigned 3DS system with a second analog stick then our current 3DS will become obsolete and we will either have to upgrade to the new model or buy this attachment. If this is the case then I will just wait to purchase the newly redesigned 3DS and pass on this attachment.

Re: Review: Star Fox 64 3D (3DS)

WolfRamHeart

@Shockwave: Personally, I think that this remake of Star Fox 64 looks and sounds great but since I already own it on the Virtual Console I have to pass on it for the time being. That and my budget is stretched pretty thin with so many games coming out this holiday season. Oh and I am definitely not a fan of Call of Duty.

Re: Dragon Quest X Requires Online Connection

WolfRamHeart

I think that this game will not have a subscription fee outside of Japan. I can see why they are doing it in Japan considering how large the fanbase for Dragon Quest is, it will be an instant money maker. Dragon Quest and Monster Hunter are huge in Japan but that is still not the case here in the US. If they try to implement a subscription fee for this game outside of Japan there is a good chance that the game will have trouble selling especially considering the negative feedback that this game is already getting. I still plan on getting it myself and I think that this game serves a good indicator that Nintendo is finally taking serious steps at improving it's online service.

Re: Dragon Quest X Goes Online for Wii and Wii U

@lz20XX: Yeah, I totally get where you are coming from. If this game does in fact require you to be connected online at all times even to play single player then that would be a huge problem for a lot of people. I understand too that people will be upset if there is also a subscription fee to play online. I have read different things on different websites today, some say that you don't need to be connected online to play just the single player game while others do. I'm not sure what to believe right now. We definitely need more info about this game if they do decide to release it outside Japan. Personally, I think that they won't be charging a subscription fee outside of Japan. Hopefully, the online will be free just like Capcom did for Monster Hunter Tri. I guess we just have to wait and see if Square Enix is willing to do the same.

Re: Dragon Quest X Goes Online for Wii and Wii U

So people complain that the Dragon Quest series is too archaic and that the Wii doesn't have any games with online support but when they decide to try something new and give us a different take on Dragon Quest with full online support people still complain. Wow, maybe this game should have been on the PS3 and Xbox 360 instead.

Re: Review: Aya and the Cubes of Light (WiiWare)

WolfRamHeart

I'm disappointed to hear about the issues with the controls. Really unfortunate especially since it could have been avoided if the developers just implemented a standard control scheme. I'll probably pass on this one now. Good review though Peter, nice work!

I never played this one before. I just watched a gameplay video of it on YouTube and it looks great. I'm really looking forward to playing it.
