Re: Nintendo Faces More Calls to Embrace Mobile

Drugs? This guy is definitely high on Apple-products. I mean, sure, 3DS blundered a bit and I-things are eating the handheld market, there was some sort of logical argument there. But now, this guy is basically saying that everyone should get on the Apple-train because everyone has a phone.

And he thinks Sony should do that too? Oh, god. Its just too funny.

Re: Feature: Remembering the Super Game Boy

I need to buy one someday. I love my Gameboy, but I prefer playing things on big screens.

I'd love to have Gameboy Player too, but those things seem to be bloody expensive. Super Gameboy's go 10€ tops here.

Re: Survey - 58% of Indie Devs Say Nintendo Difficult to Deal With

Wiiware getting low scores = Meh. I'd expect that. As much as I like some of the games there, it could use a heavy revamp
XBLA getting worse scores = I've never used the service before, but Im bit surprised that it seems to turn out worse than Nintendo. Woah.

In any case, Steam is definitely the king on this one. Hail to the King.

I'l take my changes and buy a copy when I get some spare money next time. Considering what kind of fuzz it generated and the trouble it took to bring it to at least somewhere in west, it really must be worth it.

Re: Talking Point: Your Sonic the Hedgehog Memories

My first exposure to Sonic didnt come from the games, but rather from the cartoons (The Adventures and SatAM) and a couple of comics. I did knew he was a video game character, because I read bunch of gaming mags at the time.

Then I befriended a guy who had a Megadrive and of course, he had Sonic games. They were all fun, fast-paced platformers and I fell straight in love with the blue guy. Later had another friend who had a Dreamcast, and of course he had Sonic Adventure, which even further made me like the guy.

To be completely honest, I always liked Sonic games and I think he's getting too much critisism. Sonic 3D (or Blast, whatever) is actually fun platformer which actually has quite cool graphics and even Shadow the Heghehog is really fun game that combines Sonic Adventure levels with some arcade action. I think the only genuinely bad Sonic games out there are the Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis (The GBA port) and Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 (and maybe Sonic Shuffle too, but I havent played that).

My sister got me Okami for the Wii! Apparently it was on sale. Thanks sis!

On a side note, I brought her a Yoshi doll.
And I also gave my other sister and brother my other Wii (long story) along with a copy of Job Islands. It was that diamond I found in a bargain bin of awful shovelware.

Re: Brian Provinciano Addresses Retro City Rampage WiiWare Delay

Im bit calmed down after my initial outburst on this games Facebook page. Sorry about that. Glad to hear there will be additional content, but I'd love those Wiiware exclusive stuff too to make up the three-four months of waiting.

And yeah, Twilight Princess had widescreen mode, for instance. I cant either figure out why character creator or challenges wouldnt be in the Wii version, unless challenges are actually achievements and character creator has something to do with those X-box avatars.

@Mickey: At least in the original cartridge, the music plays fine, if thats what you meant by "playing well".

And to everyone else who liked side-scrolling action RPG's: Get Faxanadu now! Its excellent in terms of challenge, gameplay and visuals.

Re: Review: Wii Party (Wii)

Only some of the House Party games can be played with less controllers. Still though, the more the merrier.

Personally, I love this game. Its a step forward from Mario Party and I always loved the use of Mii's in "Wii (title)" games. If you play a lot offline, definitely pick this one. Goes well with Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart and Goldeneye, just like back in 1999.

Re: Super Meat Boy May Skip WiiWare and Head to Retail

Sliced, dized Wiiware version - Eh, I dunno....
Full game, all stuff and extras in a physical copy - Bring it! I actually prefer physical copies any given day. Give it a cartoony cover, and moms will buy it too thinking its something like Ninjabread Man.
