The wait for F-Zero to hit Wii may be never-ending, but the next best thing is about to arrive in the shiny ship shape of Shin'en's latest WiiWare outing. Elsewhere there's intergalactic planetary action and more English words with an education-loving vampire. Only on the Nintendo Download.
WiiWare
FAST - Racing League (Shin'en Multimedia, 1000pts) — Shin'en's combination of Ikaruga and F-Zero is looking mighty fine, as you will have read in our First Impressions: FAST — Racing League. Come back soon for our review.
DSiWare
Mighty Milky Way (WayForward Technologies, 800pts) — Thankfully WayForward's latest hasn't suffered the huge delays that beset Mighty Flip Champs or Shantae: Risky's Revenge. You can read our Mighty Milky Way review to see if this one's up to the stellar standard we've come to expect from WayForward.
Successfully Learning English - Year 5 (Tivola, 500pts) — Some English words we've learnt from this series so far: mediocre, lacklustre, meretricious. Expect these words — and more — in our upcoming review.

Really look forward to FAST - Racing League. It's another case of "I can't believe the graphics are that good".
Downloading FAST now!
Once I've finished Mighty flip champs, I'll definetley get Mighty milky way, it looks great. FAST-racing league has fantastic graphics for a wiiware game (not that I would expect any less from shin'en) but its not my sort of game.
FAST Racing League review ASAP please and thank you.
Looking forward to FAST review. Might be worth picking up when it comes to WiiWare in the US
Just wanted to say I love your writing style on these download news every Monday and Friday, James.
Well darn, I was really hoping for a demo of FAST. I'll have to wait for the review now. After wasting 1500 points on Platchen (Or whatever it's called) the night it launched I have to be much more careful with impulse buys.
Finally now just zoom over this way
Still no Cave Story DSiware?!
Has it got lost or what?
sigh, no FAST demo for europe, so were probably not gettin one, so i'll keep a look out for the review. any1 from europe gettin this on day1 please leave ur thoughts on the game, cause I definitely got $10 ready I just need confirmation that this game is HOTT!!!
http://youtu.be/LPCe0IVDmfI a youtube review for FAST just couldn't wait
no dsi for us. either the update is late or wayfoward stiffed us again (shakes fist and swears)
is there going to be a dsi component to the eshop?
If not, is it possible to gift a dsi game from a european dsi to an australian dsi? They are both PAL but belong to different Nintendos for releases.
Wait, Ikaruga and F-Zero? I am so sole when FAST comes to America.
Nothing for me this week. I'm not so hyped for Fast as everyone else. I'm waiting for MDK2, since this is more my kind of game. Unfortunately next weeks comes Yard Sale Hidden Treasures: Sunnyville. Nintendo has apparently still some junk games to fill-in the weeks. Oh well. Something is better than nothing, I guess.
woot--hope US gets fast this week--first wiiware purchase in forever inc
Seems like a very good week with FAST and Mighty Milky Way.
The only downside is that there is no demo. A FAST demo would have been a great way to at least bring some more fuel to WiiWare.
RIP WW demos
FAST looks pretty cool, good thing it's coming out next week!
Fast is absolutely great, playing it at the moment
fast as hell with crystal clear graphics, no jaggies or fliggering... wondering why other developers don't get this quality with their retail games ^^
I thought what the hell and downloaded FAST. It's a great game. Worth it's £7 price and then some.
What other games have this company developed? I'ma buy 'em.
^ They have made Art of Balance, Jett Rocket and Fun! Fun! Minigolf for WiiWare. The first two are both decent games. For a complete list of games look here.
It's a very good game. I give it 8.5 out of 10. Brilliant music.
I hope it sell's very well in Europe. I want to see a F-RL 2 with online multiplayer/Leaderboards.
Was really hoping for online play.
Downloaded game around midnight last night. Loving FAST, it is a great racing game with ace graphics. The music is excellent too. Been looking for a decent racing game on wii for ages, i have Mario Kart and FZero GX other than that none are worth bothering with, now i have FAST so this will keep me going for a while now. Other developers should hang their heads in shame at the rubbish they pump out on the wii, shin'en show how it could and should be done - Trackmania and Need for speed hot pursuit were both diabolical! All racing game fans should get FAST, its cheap and great. Only thing missing is online play.
I just bought FAST. It's very cool! No need to wait for the review if you like racing games......just buy it! The black/white thing is a very cool touch, as is driving on the ceilings. If you like(d) the WipeOut series, you'll like this.
