Since galaxy 2, I stand behind my words that Nintendo needs to react to these leaks by dropping street date at least for digital games.

The old argument was the retailer deals, but we see more and more games launch digital sometimes months before the carts hit stores.

Flip the switch, FOMO drives piracy up every time a big N game leaks.

Partly simply because it’s too late in the year. One of the best things about sprig announcements is being out by the holiday, and they like to stay away from huge announcements during sales seasons. Idk if a new console being announced there would happen, just due to that .

I don’t mind subs at all . I like reading. That said, it does make it harder at regular volume sometimes to split attention of combat etc also happening.

I’m a majority handheld gamer, so there’s no way I’d rank the 64 over the 3ds version. It’s just way better, and the 3D effect was great.

That said, it would indeed be a hard sell to someone who bought and retained the 64 copy, and it’s much more locked to a specific device to get the most of it, as opposed to all the things the data of the og will run on…..

PJMonsters is still the family’s fav tower defense game. pjm2 was lackluster, but overall a great dev.

Retro games are hard to find because things like eBay prices, , collectors, not being made anymore, not so much piracy. The prevalence of modded systems and not enough carts is because the demand outstripped the supply. IMO , the thing way worse than personal piracy is bootlegs. That’s unethical and sometimes does stop legitimate sales, but usually only current gen stuff is affected.

Then go on to state you mostly buy 2nd hand, which is just as non beneficial to the devs, and wonders where the supply of good retro games is…. Another person like you bought em all already!
