I usually skip indie games because most are terrible, and the ones that aren't are usually half baked. The good game mechanics get absorbed by bigger studios who have the time and money to refine them and make them better.

It only looked ok next to the absolutely horrible Pokemon presents last week. We need that real direct ASAP

I’m impressed someone found this, because I’ve 100%’ed the game and at no point was I not at full bananza energy. The energy drinks were my last upgrade because from what I could tell, they are basically useless…

We used to get the coolest special additions as pokemon fans. Now we get the game pre downloaded for us and we are supposed to be excited xD

I wish they would sell the IP to Nintendo so that they can make these generic ***** app games and an actual good company can make great Pokemon games for the real fans.

I wonder if the performance issues have anything to do with the game originally being for the 1st switch. Maybe switching over caused some unintended issues?

My personal feeling is that this doesn’t really matter. I have my launch switch 1 pro controller and it still has crazy battery life and works just as great as day 1.

Their turn around the past few years has been fun to watch. Sonic Generations X Shadow was a lot of fun, and I’m tearing up some Puyo Puyo Tetris 2s on my NS2 currently. I’ve always loved SEGA’s charm, and their games are starting to get that old soul back. It’s funny to see the nay sayers in the comments - why wouldn’t you root for a company trying to get better at making things you enjoy?

It’s definitely a great game, but sad that an update made it worse. I’m not sure if it’s true, but this direction only really makes sense to me if they are considering this game a spin off, and a more classic Mario kart experience is in the works.

For some reason TOTK was way too slow to start so I never really got into it when it first came out. Thank goodness I waited, it’s too much fun on the switch 2!
