Interested in the art style and gameplay. But from the reviews I’ve read it seems like it’s only 2-3 hours long in total to complete the story. I never played the original - is there other modes and replay value?
Wasn’t sure about the approach when I saw it in the trailer. Felt like they were maybe straying too far from ‘Mario world’ into an uncomfortable mish mash of styles. But playing it, I loved it. When Nintendo can be bothered to really innovate, it’s amazing. Shame it doesn’t put in such an effort with its IP more often (Mario golf)
Got this reduced to nothing at launch. You can make and share your own puzzles like Mario Maker! But severe online performance issues and loading times. You can’t even see how many people liked / disliked your levels
Petadachi was being promoted in 2020 for a 2021 release and it’s still not out. Starting a game and not being bothered to finish it is what I do. But I’m playing them not making them.
It’s amazing the switch has done so well when the controllers it ships with literally prevent you playing games. I tried playing Pokémon arceus handheld and the camera was just spinning round me.
The new tracks are great! But after not playing for ages, I had a warm up on online multiplayer whilst waiting for the tracks to drop and came 12th twice in a row 😥
I loved this game when I played it, but remember that some of the puzzle solutions became too arcane for me to work out without google. I also remember finding traversing the map traumatic at times. But maybe I’ve got smarter since then so might give it another go.
Hopefully it will be tweaked by the time it comes to switch, because reviews of the steam version have been hit and miss. Isaac deserves to go out in style.
After pre ordering Pokémon snap I made a solemn promise to myself not to buy any more games until I’d cleared huge backlog. Oh well, time to buy more games

Just to add this does have online multiplayer now, although there’s often a bit of a wait for an opponent. Good fun though!
