Re: Epic Mickey Future In Doubt After Sequel Falls Short In Sales

They have a great concept with Epic Mickey, but it shouldn't be based around painting and thinning. That was the gimmick of the first game, but it should have been something different the second time around. And the painting is just so terrible in the 3DS game. Someone with more creativity should take charge of the franchise and make it something great.

Re: Activision On Disney Infinity: We're Flattered

Screw Activision. They were good in the Atari days but now they represent the worst of the gaming industry. They run every franchise into the ground with their yearly (sometimes more) releases. I look forward to Disney killing their garbage Skylanders franchise.

Re: Wii U Software Sales Are "Struggling"

Svengoolie

I just wish they would wait until some damn games come out before they do their little "analyzations." I don't like the game drought either but it is what it is. If Rayman Legends and Pikmin 3 underperform, THEN write these articles.

Re: Analyst Firm Concerned That Wii U Will "Lack Broad Appeal"

Svengoolie

@Moshugan The low software rate is just because the big ports are games that we already bought on other systems. Mario has almost a 70% attach rate, which is huge, and ZombiU did really big sales. Other than that, there's still not anything really worth buying. Games will sell more when something actually comes out.

Re: Wii U Games Struggling At Retail In The UK

Svengoolie

Nintendo keeps shooting themselves in the feet by naming their systems this way. 3DS seemed like yet another revision of the DS, so it took a long time for sales to pick up. Now, casuals think Wii U is just a new controller for the Wii, and Nintendo NEEDS those casuals.
