Re: iPhone Success Angry Birds to Peck DS

SuperMarioFan96

Love this game on my iPod Touch, and it would absolutely work on DS. My only thing that I'll say is that on the iStuff, the developers are continually adding new levels to the game (for free in updates, not as DLC), to the point that this game now has more than 170 levels. And the game only costs $1. Even on DSiWare for 200 points the game might be able to match the iThings version in content at launch, but in a few months time the iPhone/Touch version will already have more levels.

But still, this game is awesome, so it's good that it's coming to DS(iWare presumably).

I wasn't going to click on this because I knew I'd never get it, but I saw that first sentence and just knew I had to read it. That's how you reel 'em in James.

Thanks for doing reviews like this guys. For one, they're hilarious to read. And second, I'm glad you still review all downloadable titles, regardless of how horrid you know they'll be. I know how painful it can be.

Re: First Impressions: Disney Epic Mickey

I really don't know what to think of this game. It doesn't look like anything special (it looks good, at the very least, but nothing fantastic), and yet it seems like every gaming site out there (except NL, lol) have hyped this up immensely and talked about how awesome it will be. So I guess we'll just wait and see.

Re: Review: Furry Legends (WiiWare)

Well, I wouldn't say I was "rolling (did you do that on purpose?) on the floor" playing it, but no game has come close to doing that for me ever, so I wasn't exactly looking for that. I just found it to be very funny and thought it might've been worthy of inclusion in the review, but I guess everyone has different opinions on humor.

Re: Review: Furry Legends (WiiWare)

How can you not mention that this game is hilarious? Did you read all the signs posted throught the game? Or read the dialouge? Or see what happened at the end of level 2 (I won't spoil it of course)? Seriously, I thought it was worth mentioning.

"Now it's time to play with your b- boulders!"

Aside from that, great review Corbie. I personally think the score should be higher, but I won't go on all day complaining about it. I definetely agree about the controls and frustrations, but I guess they just didn't bother me as much.

Re: Podcast: Episode 17 - E3 Roundup!

SuperMarioFan96

I don't have time to listen so could someone post the winners in the comments please? Just make sure you give a spoiler warning because many people probably want to listen to it to find out.

EDIT: Well, actually I'm on vacation and only have my iTouch for Internet... So I can't litsten.

Re: Rabbids Travel in Time Details Step Out of the DeLorean

SuperMarioFan96

Never owned the Raving Rabbids games. I played TV Party at my friends' house once, but it was just that.... once and with my friends. I did get Rabbids Go Home and I think it's great. Actually, this kind of idea (the traveling in time) seems like it would've been perfect for an adventure game. Oh well. I guess we'll see. I remain hopeful.

Re: Reggie Confirms 3DS is Coming Next Year

SuperMarioFan96

I said it in the forums, I'll say it again: All of the demos of 3DS games at E3 were incredibly minimal, most weren't even playable, so I don't see why people thought it would be ready for this year.

Plus, we have a lot of big Wii games releasing this holiday season, and, more importantly, a decent number of DS games releasing this holiday season (Golden Sun, Scribblenauts, Okamiden, etc).

Re: E3 2010: Wii's Upcoming Line-up

SuperMarioFan96

I think this is a great lineup honestly. It was just overshadowed by the 3DS lineup, which is completely insane. Kirby Epic Yarn, IMO, looks amazing. Donkey Kong Country Returns looks great, then of course there's Zelda and all the 3rd party titles, like NBA Jam and Goldeneye. Also, Nintendo's holiday lineup for Wii is looking good. Kirby, Donkey Kong, that Flingsmash game that wasn't even mentioned, and Wii Party, which at least has a decent chance of being good (probably not fantastic though).

Re: E3 2010: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

SuperMarioFan96

I've never been a huge fan of Zelda, but something about this trailer just looks..... incredible.

Also, am I the only one who finds the subtitle intriguing? "Skyward Sword." Doesn't that sound like it implies flying or something???

EDIT: Burny beat me

Re: E3 2010: Raving Rabbids Travel in Time Revealed

SuperMarioFan96

Never owned any of the Minigame Rabbids, but I did play TV Party at a friend's house and it was pretty fun. But I did buy Rabbids Go Home which I thought was very fun. This seems like it's going to be another minigame collection, but it looks like it could be a great one....
