This is definetely going on my holiday wishlist.

I say they should be worried. A lot of casual gamers that Nintendo scooped up with the DS are being scooped up by Apple. Although I think there's a fairly simple solution that would be a huge help in the fight against Apple: Make the DSiWare Shop (or 3DS shop when that comes out) more known to the public, and make it more developer friendly. Right now there needs to be a certain number of copies of a game sold in the DSiWare store for the developer to recieve any money, and Nintendo has the final say on price. Combine that with the fact that many DS owners who don't frequent websites such as this one may not even know about the service, and it's very hard for developers to want to develop for DSiWare.

Now look at how the App store works: The developer can make the app any price they want and they get 70% of ALL profit made. Not to mention, Apple makes sure that EVERYONE buying an iPhone/iTouch/iPad knows about the App store. This causes gems like Angry Birds and Doodle Jump to be made, and go on to become very successful.

Just my thoughts.

While I'm not so sure about their games (lol), I do agree that the Wii and DS will bounce back during the holiday season. Don't forget people, the Wii sold 3.8 million units in December 2009 in JUST the US. In August/September 2009 the Wii was also recieving "TEH WII IZ DOOOMED!" comments, but then that happened.

iirc, the week Pokemon came out, JUST the DSi, as well as JUST the DSi LL (XL) outsold the PSP total. I believe Pokemon is almost at if not already past 4 million sold.

This seriously looks great. I can hardly believe it.

Will probably get FlingSmash w/ WiiMote+, although if there's a cheaper option w/o the WM+ I might go for that instead, but it doesn't look like there is.

@VGC He never said this was his favorite game ever played, he just said it's really, really good. You've never played a game you'd give a 10 to? You do realize/realise ( ) that doesn't use decimals when scoring out of 10, right? Also, if you've seen their scoring policy, you'd know that a 10 does not mean it's the greatest game ever, or a perfect game, or whatever, it just means it's REALLY REALLY good, a cut above the rest.

Well, if he's just speaking in general, he makes a good point. More than half of the internet has this (insert console here) sucks mentality (usually the Wii although it happens to other consoles as well). And then of course there are always gamers who constantly complain about some feature of a game as "ruining the series" when the game isn't even out yet and they have no idea how bad it will truly be. And as for "smack talk," whenever you're on Xbox Live (although I admittedly have been on very few times), everyone's always saying mean things to each other and saying how much better they are than everyone else.

However, seeing as he's the NBA Jam creative director, I have a feeling he's referring to people who were mad about the Wii not getting online play. That's different. You're giving the version on other consoles online play but not the Wii? You've used it plenty of times before, it's not like you're just incapable of putting it in the Wii version.

I've said it many times before, but I'll say it again. I do NOT want to hear EA complaining if the Wii version of this doesn't sell well. You dug that grave, guys.

So does this confirm the game will have 8 levels this time around? Corbie said they were Beat (and such...) length and he was at level 4 but didn't know how many there were total. 8 Beat-length levels? Yes, oh yes.

Not as good of a lineup as I was expecting, but still a good lineup. Nothing stands out to me as INSTA-BUY! but I'm sure I'll get about half the games anyway. Plus, this is just for Japan, so maybe US (and Europe and wherever else) will get a better lineup.

Never played a Pilotwings game but this one looks fun. Never played the original Nintendogs but thinking about getting this one. Never played a Street Fighter game but will probably start there.

Hopefully Super Monkey Ball will be fun. I actually enjoyed Touch and Roll, if you can believe it. Jr. (on GBA) and Banana Blitz were decent but not great. I played Professor Layton: Diabolical Box and enjoyed it but not sure if I liked it enough to get this one (it wasn't enough for me to get the one that just came out). Steel Diver is by Nintendo so it will probably be fun but we have to wait a while and see.

Everyone seems to be deciding they don't want it anymore because it got a 7. If it got an 8, I'm sure plenty you would actually want it.

This sounds like a blast with 3-4 players. I'm a little unsure whether I want to wait for the holidays to get it as a gift or if I want to get it now so that I'll have it when my cousins come over on Thanksgiving. I'm leaning towards the latter because this sounds like a pretty dull with just 1 person.

It's sad that Aura Aura Climber is being recieved so much later, but now that it's here everyone in Europe must buy it.

I've said it before: While maybe there are still a lot of games, to come out, there are only so many left that enough people will care about. Nintendo actually wants the VC to keep going as long as possible, and to do that they have to spread out the releases more and more.

Well at least that's my theory.

@Stuffed Yes, the Wii had huge stock shortages when it came out. My mom only managed to find one for me because she happened to be in Target about an hour after over 20 Wiis had arrived, and even then, she was buying the third-to-last one left. The shortages, though not as bad, were actually continuing somewhat for the entire next year and spiked again around Christmas. Then, it happened AGAIN during the 2008 Christams season.

I can see that. It would of course also count US and Europe sales since they come out IN March, even if only for a few weeks (which if it's constantly selling out could be enough to do this).

That video was so awesome. Right now I'm more focusing on what will be out this year but looking ahead there's a lot of other games I'll probably want as well.

I have a feeling GBA games will be eventually added, but it's a bit dissappointing to hear none will be available at or around launch. Oh well, I'm really looking forward to the GB GBC games since I never owned any of those.

Did Nintendo confirm whether or not this will be bundled with FlingSmash as previously seen? I'm not sure if I'm buying this yet, because I already have 4 remotes and 2 Motion+'s (it's rare that you'll actually need more than 2.....), but if it's bundled with FlingSmash and there isn't an alternative cheaper version (actually, even if there IS an alternative cheaper version not bundled wit it possibly) I will probably get this anyway. (Unless, of course, FlingSmash ends up sucking).

So, just to clarify, will the 3DS have somewhat of an "always-on" sleep mode thing as opposed to literally "turning off"? If it doesn't, then does the system need to be on to transfer data? (If the answer to the first question is yes, the second question does not apply).
