This is ridiculous. We finally get the new 3ds a whopping 7 months after Europedoes, and we have to buy it bundled with a game bundled with a game that caused E3 uproar. Great job, Reggie. My body was ready 7 months ago!

@Bass_X0 there is a cartridge placement in the diagram. That could be their new format for the console, which would help with the whole hybrid thing.

@MyBodyIsReggie they ate carts in the diagram, for both the portable and the handheld. This could be part of the hybrid concept. The cartridge can go into both the handheld and the console, but the game will obviously have a lower performance on the handheld.

@liveswired the NX is (most likely) a 9th gen system. It has to be more powerful than the ps4. I know its coming out early, but why would Nintendo make a system that underpowered?

1: every 3rd party Dev says that the next PlayStation and Xbox needs to come out 2019 for the latest. 3rd party makes or brakes a system.
2: Microsoft may have said the Xbox one will be supported for 10 years, but it obviously will be replaced before.
3: playstation is making Sony the most money. Its here to stay
4: if the nx comes out 2016/2017, the next PlayStation and Xbox is gonna comethe year after that. Look back as far as 6th gen. Whenever a console comes out, the competitors have their system out a year later to male sure they don't lose out on customers.

@mariovslink62 it also needs to keep a disc drive. Studies show most gamers still use it.

@mariovslink62 I disagree. The Xbox one has been out since 2013, and the NX will come out as early as 2016. You can't have the two be approximately equal in power, that would be a fail.

People are already saying the xbox one and ps4 are outdated. Nintendo needs something twice as powerful as the ps4. Harddrive, Ethernet, voice chat, you name it.

Former Windows is developer working on the console, $150, less powerful than the ps4, and now no disk drive. It all ads up, people. Nintendo is doomed.

Hopefully this comes out in other NA and everywhere else. This makes the N3DS pretty much irrelevant. Nintendo didn't even announce any N3DS games @E3 2015. Disappointing.

@ultraraichu the Mewtwo amiiho will most likely come to NA the same day as Europe.The two usually share release dates.

This is great news. Wish it would have come a little earlier, but this date is fine. Hope Mewtwo and the other Pokemon are compatible in the next pokmon game. Has the Pokemon company announced it yet?

@TwilightAngel for this to work properly, the McDonalds enployess will have to ask the customers if they have a Wii u or 3ds. If they don't, random 4 year olds will be treating amiibo like a doll and chew on it. If are a Nintendo fan, you most likely at least heard of amiibo or saw it in a store by now. This business move isn't rational, in my opinion

I am disappointed with this dlc thing. Let's not forget the single player campaign was so short and we all went and bought 3 amiibos. That's 39 dollars dlc. Now Nintendo is trying to make up for it with these updates all summer long. No update ( in reason) can make up for the near $100 I spent on this game.

@yoshinatsu Not all the time. Sometimes you fund the game then pay. Also, sometimes the game gets canceled and you don't get your money back.

@Spoony_Tech true. As for project cars, I suspect the devs wete just lying about it to get wii u owner's money. They went from "the wii u version is very promising" to "the wii u just can't run the game" they never showed game play, which means something's up

I'm personally not gonna fund this game. Giving money for the game to come to life and then paying for it. Then there is a chance it gets canceled or just sucks

This is really impressive. Nintendo must have taken up 2/3 of game sales in June. Sony did ok, and xbox doesn't show up once. Too bad, so sad.

1: eating and sleeping are both necessary for survival
2: roller coaster would obviously be more popular than water slide (but not necessarily skilled team mates).
3: comparing lunch and a snack is ridiculous
