Re: Aliens Infest North America on 11th October

@23, I'm not saying this game is going to be bad or something. I love Shantae on DSiWare. But compared to the earlier mentioned games and Wario Land 4, there is not a whole lot that distingished itself from the GBA titles. Same with this game. If this was DSiWare, I would be less critical. But this is a retail game and it has to be something really special for me to get excited about. So far, I'm not.

Doesn't look all that special (apart from the alien in screen 4). Have to wait for some more (and moving) footage because I think a lot of this could (and have been done) on the GBA. Even DSiWare which WayForward have done themself with Shantae. So it has to be something really special if they make a retail out of it.

Pretty stupid not to include online multiplayer (I assumed it had online support). Which makes the camera feature in this game pretty pointless. Why do you want to look at a stamp size video of your opponent with 1 fps while you can just look up from your handheld and stare to the real life person in the same room.

Re: Review: Flight Control (WiiWare)

Expected as much. DSiWare version works really well and I didn't think that it would translate well to the big screen without direct touch control. I do find it odd that the same way of control isn't a problem for the PS3 version (according to NintendoLife). Maybe different reviewers, different tastes?

According to the dutch gfk charts. It didn't make any impact. It didn't enter the Wii list and it didn't enter the all-platform list. The list comes out on Saturday, so it maybe it just haven't been pre-ordered that much (have to wait for next week to be sure).

Re: Talking Point: What Was the Best Super NES Game Ever?

Difficult question not counting the remakes on other systems. I love Donald in Maui Mallard, Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose!, Donkey Kong Country and Super Mario World. I also played the crap out of Killer Instinct and Super Mario Kart which I think I played the most.

So which one to choose? I think I go for Super Mario Kart.

And I still have loads of SNES games that I have but still need to play (Chrono Trigger, Super Mario RPG, Donkey Kong Country 2 and 3, Super Punch-Out, Super Mario All-Stars, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Secret of Mana etc. etc.). So this could change.

I love the trailer of 3D Classics: Urban Champion, but considering it's reputation, I'll wait for a review. I love Flight Control on DSiWare. So this have to be something special will I pick it up. The other two DSiWare titles, don't really sound that interesting.

@B4SDR4G, since your from the Netherlands, use 3vcash.nl. It's basically a virtual prepaid creditcard but it works with iDeal. It's safe, easy and most important, very quick. Within 5 minutes you are downloading games in the eShop or on the Wii.

About this game. I like it. I don't like the cute graphics in comparison to the serious story but I love the gameplay idea. Too bad not more was done puzzle wise. With certain characters only being able to open certain doors or that sort of things. What I also don't like is that the game goes from very easy, to brutally difficult in the last two levels (especially the last). Music is good, expect level 4, that's terrible. I like this game, but I think it's more of an 7 or 7,5.

Re: Feature: The Future of Nintendo Gaming - 2D or Not 2D?

Sneaker13

I think that there's a place for both. But sometimes I'm really impressed with how well the 2D looks years after it came out. The problem with 3D is that most of the times, it doesn't age very well. Especially realistic graphics. Games with cartoony or cel-shaded 3D looks much better after many years. I also think that we are nearing a point soon where 3D can't really get any better in a few years. I'm hoping for a big return of FMV though, huge fan.

The only game that caught my attention is Monochrome Racing, but the trailer made me dizzy. Not interested in Pac-Man and My Australian Farm. Go! Go! Kokopolo looks to chaotic, and even though The Lost Town: The Dust sounds very interesting, the screenshots doesn't excited me at all.

@rdvid Use 3vcash (http://www.3vcash.nl). This is just an online credit card where you pay for with iDeal. Minimum is 20 Euro and you pay 1 Euro administration like cost. After that, you can buy whatever you want on the Wii, DSi and the 3DS.

Well nothing for me again. Already have played and finished Mario's Picross (great game) and plan on getting Airport Mania: First Flight instead of Non-Stop Flight. I do wished we got America's games though. That WiiWare racer looked like a lot of fun and the Game & Watch game would be my first 3DSVC game.
