@BlatantlyHeroic. Jup and proud of it. But seriously. The first few gens did have there bad apples and silly moves and things as well. Still can't believe that I had to ruin a Pokémon with Flash. But it's not as bad as in the later gens.
I have to agree on multiple levels. I've got three big gripes about the serie.
First the design of the Pokémon. The first generation was awesome and there were hardly any Pokémon I didn't like (they were there, but most of them were great). But with each gen they got worse. Like they were running out of ideas. I mean, we have Ice cream Pokémon, garbage back pokemon, candle Pokemon, key pokemon. Really? Not to mention how the have nice Pokémon en screw them up by making them evolve in terrible Pokémon that hardly look like the original ones.
Second the evolutions. This was pretty simple in the first few games, but got extremely complicated. Some evolve at day, some at night, some need to be in a certain location, some need happiness, some need to hold an item when breeded etc. etc. It is just so overly complicated.
Then the moves. In the later games I have no idea what a move does. Even with a description. And especially in the last game. Some moves looks very impressive but don't appear to do much. I would however add two moves to each Pokémon. I think four is too little, I would rather have six. I find it really hard to believe that all Pokémon simply forget moves. Really? I also hate using moves outside of battle. I don't want to give up a move slot just for things like cutting down trees, breaking rocks, surfing on the water etc. etc. Just give Pokémon these abilities by default. Do I really need to learn a bird Pokémon how to fly, a water Pokémon how to swim/surf and a big, strong Pokémon how to break rocks. I don't think so.
I will probably install myself behind my PC for Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs for the most time. And when I'm portable, it will be the new Phoenix Wright game and maybe a bit of Pokemon X.
I laughed out loud when I read Stephen Kelly's piece. I have exactly the same thing. I was like "Ugh, I just want to catch and train Pokémon, not make a stupid video." Three hours later I had an awesome video.
I also like the reference to DBZ with the 9000 quote and the reference to that rhythm game they made.
O and I was so excited that I got Bulbasaur, it hasn't left my party and I just love playing with him in Pokémon Anime.
I have to give the student credit. This is an amazing thing to do in a web browser. But why in the world didn't he come up with some new characters, environments, new level layout, new enemies and just make it a new game. Why do they always have to use Mario to show what they have achieved. Of course Nintendo should take this down. Come on, it is Super Mario Bros, but then in a browser.
This really looks fun. If the gameplay is good and the game isn't really expensive, I might end up getting this to keep me occupied until Mario Kart 8.
This troubles me. I'm stroked to play the game on the Wii U, but the gamepad lends itself perfectly for this game. And now they only add off tv play. Disappointing.
If you are looking for a great Titanic game, try finding a copy of Titanic: Adventure out of Time for the PC. A brilliant adventure game that I absolutely love.
For Nintendo platforms, Hidden Mysteries: Titanic probably is your best choice.
O my, I was impressed with Chespin, but what the hell did they do to him in his second evolution. I bet the third one will be a ball of an egg. Jeez.
Never like Froakie and don't like his evolution at all. Fennekin's evolution looks kinda alright though.
I will never let Bulbasaur evolve. So unless the third evolution brings some surprises, I will either end up with two Grass Pokemon I don't want to evolve or with Bulbasaur and the firefox.
The Wonderful 101 has been shipped so it will hopefully arrive tomorrow so I can play it all Saturday. On Sunday I'm not at home so I will be playing Mario and Liugi: Dream Team on the 3DS.
The only one I'm interested in is StreetPass Mansion. It's unfortunate that in the Netherlands I hardly get any hits, apart from my sister. Last week I went from Rotterdam to Amsterdam (two of the biggest cities in my country) and back by train. Only got one hit.
The Last of Us was my E3 game of last year. I was really bummed it was an PS3 exclusive. That's why I was thrilled that the Wii U is getting Watch_Dogs. My second favorite of last years E3. I'm a big adventure fan, in which the story is probably the most important thing. So I would love more story in Nintendo games. I once played around with an Epic Mario idea until I saw how Epic Mickey turned out. The artwork was awesome, the game good, but not as interesting as the artwork was.
Never been into the Brawl series. It's fun but so overrated. I think I wait with it till it drops some in price. I'm more excited about the new Mario Kart. Hope it will be good.
This was the same grade I gave it on the forums. It's nowhere near as good as other adventures like Another Code or Hotel Dusk, but it's a nice, short story in a nice, little adventure game.
Difficult, I love the physical box, but 20 Euro's is a price difference that I'm willing to get a download copy for. I do wonder if the original NSMBU disc would be needed and if it will be more then just a buch of new levels with a color swapped Luigi. Hope to see some Luigi humor in there.
What the hell did they do to my favorite Pokémon Bulbasaur? Especially when the Venusaur is so awesome. There are a few awesome ones in there like the Rapidash, Voltorb and Gyrados. But some are really bad. Since when is Magmar a duck? Seriously?
I'm a fan of the AVGN and I'm glad this game is coming to the Nintendo consoles. I don't like AVGN that much when he is cursing like crazy. So I hope that that won't be a big part of the game.
Although I love the Nintendo Directs. There is a time an a place for everything. E3 is the time and the place to wow the audiences, to make sure that the gaming public knows what's happening on the Nintendo front. Not doing a big show is a dumb decision. You can expect Microsoft and Sony showing their new hardware, so Nintendo should show a lot of great games.
Advertisement is pretty bad here in The Netherlands as well. I haven't seen anything about Luigi's Mansion 2 on tv or anywhere else. Which makes it's current one spot all the more impressive.
I have four of those figures (just to have the rabbit, but lost it). I never know what it was when I was a kid and I first got them second hand but I though they were awesome. Now, many years later I looked them up and found what it was. Would be cool if the game reaches Europe, and be good of course .
I always loved Luigi. I think Zero Punctuation nailed it by saying in one of his reviews that Mario is basically a non-character. Don't get me wrong, I love all the games, but story wise, I have always find him uninteresting. Luigi on the other hand is awesome. I just finished Bowser's Inside Story and he is brilliant in that game. I love Luigi's Mansion 1 and 2 as well. It's such a shame that he probably always will be in the shadow of his big brother. I hope he will get more solo games or at least you can choose him in games like NSMBU. Go Luigi.
It's awesome that they've got the original voice actor of Scrooge back in the studio's. Can't wait for that. Don't mind the lack of a VC version of NES classic. I still have the original NES cartridge and both GB cartridges. Still looking for Duck Tales 2 for the NES for a reasonable price.

I will get Picross e3 for sure. And I have to say that Secret Agent Files: Miami have me intrigued. Will wait for a review though.

@FishieFish Yeah, that is a big discount. I must be a mistake.
Re: Review: Secrets of the Titanic 1912-2012 (3DS eShop)
@AJWolfTill, yeah but that's not really on the Titanic nor does it take place in the same time as the Titanic.

Re: Doublade Revealed for Pokémon X & Y, an Evolution of Honedge
Pfff, stuff like this made me lose my interest in Pokémon. Hopefully these kind of "Pokémon" won't show up more often in this gen.

Re: You'll Be Able To Choose Bulbasaur, Charmander Or Squirtle As Additional Starters In Pokémon X & Y
Nice, Bulbasaur (my favorite) as a starter. Now I'm interested. Don't care about the Mega's though. I probably won't even evolve my Bulbasaur.

I've done my job. Bought it day one and loved it. So bring on more remakes.
Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue Fifteen
DuckTales: Remastered on the WiiU for sure and the new Mario and Luigi RPG on the 3DS.
Re: Nintendo Download: 15th August (Europe)
DuckTales Remastered for sure. Can't wait for that.
Re: Video: This Mario & Luigi Trailer is the Stuff Dreams Are Made Of
Have it preordered. Can't wait till 12 July. Love all the Mario RPG's.

O man, that's too long away. But I bet it's well worth the wait.
Re: Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity Is Super Effective in UK Charts
Surprising, since the demo didn't appeal to me at all. But it's Pokémon.
Re: Review: The Starship Damrey (3DS eShop)
This was the same grade I gave it on the forums. It's nowhere near as good as other adventures like Another Code or Hotel Dusk, but it's a nice, short story in a nice, little adventure game.

I though it was very easy and very lineair. I enjoyed it, but it could have been so much better.

The Beedrill and Psyduck ones make me laugh btw.

Mario and Donkey Kong and The Starship Damrey for me for sure.

Luigi's Mansion 2 is still on top of the Dutch Game Chart. Three weeks at the top of the all platform list. Awesome.
Re: Luigi's Mansion 2 Refuses to Get Scared Out of the UK Top 10
Luigi's Mansion 2 is still number in The Netherlands across all platforms. And rightfully so. The game is awesome.

Still nothing that will makes me double dipp. Unless reviews really surprise me, I will keep it by the Wii version.
