Gamecube had bad 3rd party support because of the button lay-out, and the way it was set up. Though I think that, in this recession. For both microsoft and sony it's not a bad decission to keep this consolegen for a while longer. They won't miss out on 3rd party support, and they won't be blasted away because of WiiU being a powerhouse. If you want 3rd party games. Get yourself a 360. I'm getting a WiiU because of the eShop. I've got high hopes for that one

What @AlexSays said. Though I'm glad I'm getting the ZombiU bundle, it's a great way to start of with WiiU. Mutiplayer looks awesome btw.

I just hope eShop will flourish on WiiU. I like my gaming in bitesizes apart from Nintendo's own IP's. The gamepad can do things no other console can. And by the time OUYA gets here, we may see some ports from there, knowing there's a touchpad on that wacko as well. If I really wanted 3rd party games, I would have bought a PS3 a long time ago.

It's all about image by the way. When people think of nintendo they think of kiddies. When they think of PS360, they think adrenaline and epicness. You can't have both worlds, Either a casual or a hardcore image. Nintendo thinks it can be bipolar. It can't.

This is frightening me, I really want a solid onbiased breakdown of the WiiU specs.. It sounds like we'll be excluded again when the competition comes. I now am seriousy intersted in getting a Vita otherwise, or just keep my 3DS as my only nextgen console

I'm psyched for this game! I have some very competitive friends so all those different modes look awesome! the artstyle really grabs me as well

The time of the download will vary by connection speed and traffic.. I can only imagine how many people will download that update at once. Nintendo's servers are going to have a hard time the 18th, the 30th an the 8th

I know it's completely off-topic but @Alienfish is kind of right. That game was the moment it turned into marioparty on wheels. Super Circuit is my favorite, as it's still a racing game. I HATE THAT BLUE SHELL!!

I just hope they aren't hyping for something they can't fulfill. I'm gonna get myself a WiiU for eshop, VC and some games, but I still think the system is gonna lose the race. They're just too conservative.

I might be tempted, with that nintendo premium download subscription thing, I'll probably download Nintendo Land as well. I ussually buy many games second-hand, but this might get me into buying new.

I never even came through the first level on the snes version. It's one of the only games that I keep playing, even when i've never seen the second level. I suck at this game..

I feel like a kid already when I'm playing my 3DS while getting to my university, This will only make it worse. I really hope Nintendo will try to reach their more mature audience with special editions once in a while..

Look at the backlog of games one can play for practicly nothing.

@BenAV You live in a PAL region too, right? Do you know anything about a PAL release? Apparently it's not a launch title. Most retailers in the Netherlands say it's for a 31dec release.

I agree with @Haywired that developers should watch out with what they're doing with the gamepad, I don't want to be forced to do things that are plain easy with buttons. Demolishing great games by adding Fruit Ninja?! BAD!!
This is an FPS, so the moment your thmbs leave the conrol sticks you can either not move or not change de camera direction.
But why do you think that gamepad can only be on your lap? You can't move your arms up?
Checking your gamepad can be as easy as checking your DS screen..

Chooses Sleeping Dogs over Tomb Raider. I never really liked the Tomb Raider series. Apart from Lara's physique and shooting the butler.

Instabuy!! i've been following this game for quite some time now and it seriously is one of my reasons to get myself a WiiU.

I didn't like the 3D-styling when I first saw it, and I still don't.
I feel the characters are more flat in 3D then they were in 2D.
Those 2D characters were easier relate to in my opinion
