It’s just too Xxpen5ive for a port... especially after Super MARIO Odessy... I’m happy to pay £30-£40 for decent updates/ports but this kinda looks reductive... next to DK Tropical Freeze which was an excellent port I happily paid £30 for and enjoyed immensely!

I need to find some other UK Switch owners so I can 100% Let’s Go Pikachu!

@MongolRaider thanks buddy! I’ve never been good with figures... money goes in... more money goes out! That’s a huge target after the Wii U flopped... seems like they are on the right track? I hope the next Pokemon gave isn’t a a movie tie in to boost sales much as I love Ryan Reynolds.. could u imagin?!

I’m slightly confused... switch had sold
Almost 23 million hardware units by Q3 this year but the target was originally 20million in two years? It’s doing well!

@TheBigN93 @TheBigN93 and then they’ll be a Switch XL and we’ll all have to upgrade! I’d love an edge to edge 1080p screen with the same overall dimensions. Maybe they’ll do a ‘generous’ trade in like Sony LOL

@PolarExperience maybe the 20 odd million owners currently are just buying every major release! I kno I have!

My last console was a GCN, I had a long break! The Switch lured me back and I’m loving Nintendo’s resurgance. Long may it last! Can’t wait for global Switch figures next March! Was the target 20 million? Maybe 25-30 by then! Fingers crossed!!!

I used to love this... the graphics and sound seemed amazing at the time... has time being kind? FFS Nintendo virtual console on Switch STAT!

@tourjeff there are tutorials and info in the help section . I was instantly overwhelmed but after a while I’m obsessed! The adventure mode seems confusing at first but it’s the most fun way to
Unlock characters and easier once u work out how to use the spirits! I kept losing against the ‘new challengers’. Pauline’s spirit is a tho! Lol

I REALLY hope they include ET one of the finest games ever made...

@electrolite77 why do you think that is? Surely it would give them more to brag about? I have a mixture of download and cartridges but the novelty of changing those tiny little funny tasting things soon wore off! I know lots of people like to physically ‘have’ games. I would love to know the ratio between hard copy and download tho!

I don’t know why it took 18 months for Switch Online... if we had had a month free when we bought our Switches and then had to pay we would all be used to it! Ultimately it’s an additional service that costs money, they have to charge something for it?!

Lots of people complain about stability - I’ve got fairly fast fibre optic broadband and no issues whatsoever! (35-40mbps).

@NESlover85 you’re right, mind you that’s two years old? I was trying to hazard a guess, it seems ridiculous we can’t have anything that vaguely resembles a virtual console! I’m old enough to have had a NES complete with ROB and Zapper... actually Duck Hunt with a joycon could be fun!

Being able to back up games like Zelda, Smash Bros (but not Pokemon?!) is defo worth £20 a year...

It’s kinda cool jumping from Mario Odessy to Super Mario Bros.... and BACK pretty quickly!

I did enjoy completing the original Zelda (before the SP was released damn it!)

Why would they add SNES games when the SNES mini is still on sale? Maybe next year (end of)?

Love the game! Ive already clocked in over 30hours!!!

I’m just happy to have unlocked all the characters and completed WOL (25hours and another 5 for Pauline).

All these alternative controllers are great but where’s the rumble? Think I’ll grab some old original GCN controllers instead.

Ps Nintendo I can’t buy new controllers each time you release a new game... NES Online, Pokemon and now Smash Bros...

I’m loving this! Missed out in 1998 but remember the craze... defo easier to use/catch in handheld mode which is a shame, this is a beautiful looking game and some of the music (mid game) is amazing too!

getting those 96 exits, the total palette change of the map after the special zone and finally beating the game without the internet and just the odd tip from a magazine or friend... what a feeling!

me and my brother used to have punch ups about who was better, sega or nintendo? who would win in a fight... sonic or mario?

don’t see mario on any current sega consoles... and as for who would win the fight.... december brah!

i think while they are still selling SNES minis, there is no incentive to add the same games the Switch Online... i wonder what will be on there in 12 more months (the NES mini is 2 years old)

i did get 999 moons but cheated... i couldn’t stand jump rope or some of the loops races. i almost wanna delete my file and start again... this game is epic!

Thank god for ‘Funky mode’ this game is incredibly challenging in places. I think it’s fair to charge maybe £40 for a rerelease that’s had a few few tweaks or even £30 if u bought the original... I got a download code for £30 so happy days! Looks beautiful and sounds amazing!

BUT I spent all last weekend earning Link’s pink pyjamas!!! Games were short but tough in those days... was fun standing in Ganon’s ashes!

What next? Metroid starts in Samus’ Bikini? Lol
