@UmbreonsPapa That wouldn't surprise me and would make a lot of sense in keeping Switch users content. Looking at all the rumors and evidence to back it up, i'm 100% sure we'll be getting Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee versions of pokemon games this year, whether that's in the form of remastered Kanto with all pokemon up to Gen 7, with a few new pokemon or multiple regions we'll have to wait and see.

These titles definitely make a lot of sense:

1) Multiple insiders on twitter who have been right on previous rumors for sun and moon have been hinting at it, PixelPar especially.
2) A while back there was a magazine advertising new pokemon toys but some were covered up right next to Eevee, possibly a new eeveelution.
3) On the Japanese Nintendo website you can find an image of both pikachu and eevee next to each other.
4) The potentially leaked screenshot of the game showed the trainer with an eevee on his shoulder.
5) There was talk recently from Nintendo about a possible alternate pikachu evolution, gorochu.
6) There was a patent for a new device not that long ago, some sort of interactive card that changed that could potentially tie in with both the new switch games and pokemon go.
7) Returning to Kanto was hinted at in pokemon sun and moon.
8) The official spanish magazine shows a picture of pikachu from pokemon yellow.
9) The next pokemon anime is going to be heavily focused on Eevee.
10) There is a Project Eevee twitter account which is verified which has posted a picture highlighting the 21st of May...potential announcement?
11) It's 20 years since pokemon yellow, perfect time for a remake/remaster.
12) Someone who works at Gamefreak tweeted out a picture or eevee and a luigi pikachu plush toys together with pokeballs. the mario bros saying is "Let's a go!".
13) Now these domains have been registered by the same company who registered the previous pokemon game domains.
