I got this one for the DS and to this day it's still one of my favorite RPGs. The story, the monster taming and the general charm make something really special.
Also, it's kind of a minor thing but I always loved the protagonist's design with the purple turban and the fact that he mainly weilds a staff instead of a sword. Saber is also another incredibly iconic design.
@Highlar That's valid! The system just feels a little too aimless for me, but it's alright, it's not a big deal. As you said, you can still have great sets without even bothering with armor augmentation, and the game has a lot to offer beyond that.
@Highlar I guess, but I'd just like to have some control over it. I don't find it that personal when it's 100% luck-dependant.
I'd like it if, in addition to the current system, we could augment armor with fixed results, even if they weren't as good as what you could potentially get with RNG. Like a fixed defense boost, or a single lv1 slot, stuff like that. Just so you could plan stuff in advance when making a mixed set instead of just praying that you'll eventually roll a good augment.
Incredibly well deserved. Base Rise was already excellent and Sunbreak improved so much on it while adding a massive amount of content. I'm at more than 500 hours and I can easily see myself playing hundreds more, and we even have more stuff to look forward in the future. I'm not a fan of the RNG system they added for armor augments but it's fine as an optional thing, and I hope they keep refining it in the future.
Any game were I can play as a werewolf is immediately in my "keep an eye on it" list. I love the aesthetics, although I agree the animations look a bit off. Not that big of a deal to me though, so we'll see how this turns out.
I'm glad they're not afraid to delay the game as much as needed instead of releasing a buggy mess with the intention to patch later like so many other high profile games.
I was incredibly surprised by this game. I hadn't bought a Kirby game since the GBA days but decided to give this one a chance since I'd heard good things about it and ended up absolutely loving every second. I was honestly sad that it ended.
Man, I really hope enough governments ban loot boxes to the point that publishers stop doing them. Their only purpose is to prey on vulnerable people with poor impulse control, and they actively hinder game design. I want them out of gaming completely.
I'm a gay dude so it's not like I'm personally attracted to Bayonetta, but I still won't be using this as I feel her sexiness is an important part of her charm and I'd never play this sort of game around children anyway.
That said, it seems like a very nice addition for people who might be uncomfortable by the nudity for whatever reason and I find it so funny/sad that some people are complaining about a completely optional feature. Ah, gamers...
Not really Nintendo-related, but the franchise I'd most love to see in this sort of game is actually Magic: The Gathering (yes, the card game). It just has lots of cool iconic characters that I'd love to play as.
Environments look gorgeous as always with this series but I'm not a huge fan of the character designs to be honest. I never played the second game anyway so I'm not sure if I'll ever get this one.
I haven't got the game yet but I'm interested. Can someone tell me if these items you get from the codes that expire are hard to get or limited in some way in-game?

Don't do this. Don't give me hope...

Re: Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Gets A Stunning Launch Trailer
Absolutely hyped about this expansion. Rise was incredible and I'm ready to sink hundreds of hours into Sunbreak.
Also, the Magnamalo variant looks so badass!

@Joeynator3000 I'm surprised by this comment. I don't remember seeing any significant bugs like what you're describing during my playthrough.
Re: Nintendo Adds Super Mario World And Super Punch-Out!! Switch Online Special Versions
@HIGHscores85
I do the same! But I still wish there was a better option.
Re: Nintendo Adds Super Mario World And Super Punch-Out!! Switch Online Special Versions
I really wish they added these in a sub-menu for each relevant game or something. I don't like that they use so much space among the "normal" games.
