Re: Anniversary: Dragon Quest V Is 30 Years Old Today

I got this one for the DS and to this day it's still one of my favorite RPGs. The story, the monster taming and the general charm make something really special.

Also, it's kind of a minor thing but I always loved the protagonist's design with the purple turban and the fact that he mainly weilds a staff instead of a sword. Saber is also another incredibly iconic design.

@Highlar I guess, but I'd just like to have some control over it. I don't find it that personal when it's 100% luck-dependant.

I'd like it if, in addition to the current system, we could augment armor with fixed results, even if they weren't as good as what you could potentially get with RNG. Like a fixed defense boost, or a single lv1 slot, stuff like that. Just so you could plan stuff in advance when making a mixed set instead of just praying that you'll eventually roll a good augment.

Incredibly well deserved. Base Rise was already excellent and Sunbreak improved so much on it while adding a massive amount of content.
I'm at more than 500 hours and I can easily see myself playing hundreds more, and we even have more stuff to look forward in the future.
I'm not a fan of the RNG system they added for armor augments but it's fine as an optional thing, and I hope they keep refining it in the future.

Re: Bayonetta 3 Has A "Naive Angel Mode" For People Who Don't Want To See Bums

I'm a gay dude so it's not like I'm personally attracted to Bayonetta, but I still won't be using this as I feel her sexiness is an important part of her charm and I'd never play this sort of game around children anyway.

That said, it seems like a very nice addition for people who might be uncomfortable by the nudity for whatever reason and I find it so funny/sad that some people are complaining about a completely optional feature. Ah, gamers...
