bad excuse and overall just a huge disappointment.
obviously still looking forward to Pokemon X/Y, but it does suck... no need to defend this decision just because you love pokemon

• especially since it's a game we care so much about.. we should be more honest with our opinions and tell it like it is

when you have 3D enabled.. you HAVE to hold your 3DS correctly.. or look at it from a certain angle, otherwise you won't be able to make out anything

when 3D is turned off.. it doesn't matter from which angle you look at your screen, you can always see everything perfectly fine

due to the constant switching between 2D and 3D (which happens automatically) it'll be very tiresome for our eyes

• you will also automatically change the angle from which you look at your screen.. when playing a game in 3D you're always in this kind of "uptight"-mode when holding the 3DS + looking at your screen

when in over world that does not apply.. and you will simply look at your screen from a different angle or hold your 3DS in another way (even if it's just by a little bit) - you'll simply relax your hands, etc. because the rules no longer apply (in 2D mode)..
in that brief 2D moment you won't need to hold your 3DS in such an awkward/uptight position to clearly see what's happening on your screen, so you automatically won't do it

it won't happen all the time, but it'll happen
enough so that the constant 2D and 3D switching leads most people to turn 3D completely off for Pokemon X/Y

"im actually pretty disappointed by this. love nintendo, but if you decide to make 3D-Pokemon game for the 3DS then they should definitely make sure that it's 100% in 3D
guess what.. some of us really like the 3D-effect..

the constant switching between over world and battle-mode will turn this into a complete mess... it'll force people to have the 3D-effect off at all times (when playing Pokemon)
if it'll constantly switch between 2D and 3D..just wow - it'd be way too tiresome, confusing and annoying for everyones eyes

when in over world you will automatically relax your hands and have the 3DS in a differet position than in battle-mode, you will always have to adjust - not just your eyes, but also the way you're holding your 3DS/XL every time you're switching from over world to battle-mode
it's pretty worrisome reading that the 3D-effect causes framedrops, that'll be annoying

i love nintendo and i never really cared for the grand theft auto franchise, but this game looks great.

and it's a game... i hate these discussions about violence and sexism.. so boring and annoying

of course it can be enjoyable to run people over in a car, shoot them in the head or torture them...
it's a game, these things can be fun

and what's so horrible about prostitutes, tits, etc. in games?
"oh no! sexism" doesn't the "sexism"-screaming get old?

i don't need violence in my games, i really prefer zelda, pokemon.. or other great games.
i want great gameplay, characters, story, etc.

but i have no problems with violent games.. and if i play a game like GTA.. i expect violence, it was meant to be played that way

@3Daniel i wouldn't even mind having to buy both version.. if i'd be able to put both mewtwo's on 1 version at the end of the day
that's what im concerned about

if i try to trade/transer the Y evolution to X, if a message will pop up saying
"you can't have Mewtwo Y on Pokemon X. Please put in Pokemon Y to use Mewtwo Y."

i mean.. why would i ever do that? that doesn't even make sense... we'll have 700+ pokemon.. and we're only able to have 6 in our team
don't need 2x the same on my team..

it's not about about having 2 mewtwo's in my team, it's about being able to have EVERYTHING there is in this game
every pokemon + every mega evolution.. on 1 version of the game

it's about BEING ABLE to say (when playing X): "yea, i feel like using the Y-evolution today, should be fun...."

or being able to say... "i've "collected"/catched everything there is in this game"

i just want to be able to have ALL content on 1 version... if a pokemon is exclusive to Y.. i can still get it and use it on X
i want the same thing with mewtwo's 2 mega evolutions

i dont want to use 2x mewtwo with their different evolutions in online battles...wtf?

ok, i've already posted this in the thread, but... am i really the only one who has a problem with this?

Mewtwo 2 evolutions, 1 exclusive to X, the other to Y.
if a pokemon is exclusive to 1 version, you can still get it.. via trade, etc.

but a mega evolution being exclusive?
that means...if you choose to play X.. you will NEVER be able to get mewtwo's Y evolution on your x game...
you can get all the pokemon, all mega evolutions.. except for 1

if you want to build a team around mewtwo's second evolution.. you will have to buy the other version (Y in this case) - many will do this anway
but you will NEVER have both mega evolutions on 1 version..

= you won't have 1 mewtwo with both mega evolutions available in battle + you won't have 2x mewtwo (1 with x-evolution and the other with y-evolution)
if you play X.. every mewtwo you'll get will only have the X-evolution

absolutely terrible.

• fennekin, chespin evolutions = horrible
• only 1 legendary for each gen rumored to have a mega evolution = terrible
  no mew, etc. mega evolutions :/

Nintendo is so much better than all these other companies (hi EA) who like to announce DLC even before the game is released

Nintendo still sells 100% full game and asks for a fair price
companies like EA sell you 60% of the game for the full price and then "offer" DLC, microtransactions and monthly subscription fee's

even their mobile games are no longer playable (just read the reviews... doesn't bother me though because i would never play mobile games)

whenever i buy a game from Nintendo i know that it'll be worth the money i'll just have a great experience playing it... and i know it'll be a FULL-game

when Nintendo starts adding DLC for some games or asking for 5$/year (optional) i'm willing to give them that without hestitation (if we're talking about a game which interests me)

really... 5$/year and everyone is going apepoopiedoodoocacapoopledoople crazy over it..
unlike all the other companies/game-developers and publishers, Nintendo is still so fair to their customers and i have absolutely no clue why everyone is so mad about this whole Pokemon Bank 5$/year-thing

Nintendo is like the only game-developer+publisher nowadays that sells you FULL games...

take EA for example.. or any other game developer.... they announce DLC before the game even has a release date... they sell you 50-60% of the game for the full price..

• they use microtransactions + maybe a subscription fee

basically.. you can't experience the full game without continuously paying for it, again and again..

with nintendo? i pay once and get to experience 100% of the game...
very rarely do they introduce DLC, etc. - and Nintendo's DLC is fair

now i have to pay like 5euros/year for a feature that you don't necessarily need?
yea.. let's rage about it on the internet... who could possibly pay such a huge amount (0,42) each month for such a service, that's so unfair of nintendo
