I had this on my "things to watch" list for quite some years so it definitely were in development before we knew about Metroid Dread.

Oh the love I feel for RE3! We sat around and finished 1, 2 and 3 together as a group when teenagers. RE2 has the best story but the tense moments of Nemesis chasing! They're quite something!
But the absolute best is RE4 on a Wii.

No one mentioned Cain from Diablo 2 yet?! "Stay a while and listen!"

@everynowandben in all fairness there's already a Giana Sisters game on Switch. A remake I think. And that's why the world is like this...

A quarter of my year's playtime went to Dread in October!

@Kyloctopus Ashen is quite patched and runs smooth as a 30 fps game does. In my opinion it definitely deserves an 8. One of my favorites! You should give it a try. There's always this Christmas sales coming up.

For me? Dread. Bought a LEGO game for the kids so I get to spend the whole evening in my couch with my Lite feeling joy!

Despite XBGL system it was a really good and fun game!

I love the job system in the previous titles so I think I give it a go. I mean, the Switch Lite is like THE JRPG machine!

I got it on my Series S but I find FPS damn near impossible without gyro aiming nowadays so I will get it on my Switch. Also I consider my Switch Lite my primary console, so even when it is on Game Pass, if it's good, I double dip.

Meh. I give €40 for games I only play once. Actually, I rarely replay games even when they cost €60 so I don't really see the difference.

You often forget CEST/CET times nowadays. I guess I could only add one hour to BST but hey; sometimes this engineer is too tired 🤷‍♀️

I love the Doom remake! And while I do agree that Wolfenstein is blurry as hell I really don't think it's that noticeable on Doom.
I like to say I'm proof that there are women, playing Doom, for the story, on Switch! 😅

I like short and concise. Too often games nowadays feel bloated to fill up our time. I rather prefer a shorter experience that actually say something, like a good written short story, and nothing at all like this comment.

I think it's well deserved! I really loved it! And finally, gay marriage! Also, while I understand those that have different opinions about the art direction I do love it and think it suits the game brilliantly!

@Wilforce exactly! I've been wanting to get into MOBA and a lightweight Pokémon seems perfect for that. Experimentation gave us Snap, so even if all can't be winners some of them will be.

@Apportal_SMM2 I think they maybe more look like the way we remember games from the 80's. 😊 Because the reality of the 80's were 16 colours and 320x240 pixels...

@COVIDberry true. Had it been like €25-30 it would have been a no-brainer. And as for the screen size I guess that can be a challenge. But I really really like portables and this thing is adorable. If there's an western release they probably will change the games anyway...

@dsparil I didn't know. And I didn't know Last Bible existed for the GB. Must track this down!
I discovered SMT due to the remake on 3DS when searching for games similar to Etrian Odyssey and google around a bit and found the connection to both Last Bible and Persona. Fascinating series!

SMT "forerunner" on a micro handheld? I think it is worth €50! I love all form of handhelds!

@Bucket exactly my thought. It really reminds me of the Amiga game. I think I had it for the C64 also. Called Stealth then. Doesn't look like much upgraded graphics either. Strange...

Finally gay marriage, at least in Europe and US! I'm so tired of the pixel art in Stardew Valley (excellent game though) so I'm definitely looking forward to this!

@zoneoftruth I would definitely say so. I'm generally not very good at games and really enjoyed it! I still had a lot of trial and error but found that it was always fair. Whenever I died it was because of me rushing or something like that. Once or twice I could maybe blame the baby!

It's definitely my game of the year; tbh I haven't had this much fun and awe since BotW! I've longed for NL to review this so more people can find out about it and enjoy it!

EDIT: Only played handheld since I gave my day one to the kids and bought a Lite. Since I am a mother of three I never get the TV anyway...
