It plugs into a Gamecube controller port, and translates the buttons into Gamecube buttons. Not wireless yet AllYourBase :/

Agreed, but there should be a system that stops kids from picking up these games. Banning for everyone isn't the answer, parents need to understand the content before letting their kids buy and play them.

Hmm, I heard the Wii was over twice as powerful as the GC. In fact in the same interview Mr Miyamoto says:

For a brief period of time, some of the staff said, "The Wii has better capabilities than the GC so lets improve the graphics."
But Zelda fans aren’t really looking forward to a improved version of the game and are only looking for it to be fun so, I said all we have to do is make something fun for both the Wii and GC.

Well going by past release on the xbox 360, Blazing Angels, Call of Duty 3, Tony Hawks, Need for Speed and Madden should be online. We'll just have to wait and see I guess. :/

It would be nice if, like all xbox 360 games, an online mode is required for all games.

Being a lefty, I found the controls very awkward, its really hard to move using the ABXY buttons on the right hand. Or its really hard to shoot with the right hand using the stylus (being a lefty)

Also the game suffers from severe slowdown when a few enemies are onscreen.

I'm quite looking forward to it. Making sonic on-rails would make it better I think. If any game should be an on-rails platformer, it's sonic.

Good review, if a little harsh with the score. I liked Yoshi's Touch and Go, it certainly gets you used to the stylus as a control device quick enough and I think is very innovative, if short.
A good play-and-pass 'beat that score, punk' game. I'd rate it 7/10

Hmm, was this to do with region coding at all? It's not like the DS it the first region free console, all handhelds have always been multi-region!

You'd probably still need a development kit of some sort, even with an open SDK. How could you test your games on a PC with a different control scheme, let alone architecture?
With the development kit that cheap though, maybe more enthusiasts will give development a go...

The last game was more RPG than platform.
There was a jump button, but you also has final fantasy style item collection and talking to character elements. I doubt it will lose the RPG'ness, otherwise Nintendo would be developing it!

Does this mean that the GBA slot in the DS lite is shallower than the regular DS, meaning every GBA game will stick out?

If it does turn out to be the true lineup, its incredibly strong for a console launch. Remember when the N64 launched with just 2 games?

I doubt that this will be the launch lineup though because quite a few of these games weren't playable at E3.

I hope the 9 that I want will be: Zelda, Metroid, Red Steel, Wii Sports, Dragon Quest, Monkeyball, Trauma Center, Elebits and Mario Galaxy (It will make launch, I know it )
