The release of Nintendo's upcoming home console is getting closer and closer, and the lack of informative and interesting stuff to write about makes rumours spread like fire in dry grass. The latest rumour was set loose by the guys over at wiixors.com, who managed to grab a few pictures of the back of the Wii box from a local EB games shop.
It's hard to tell what it really is, and people are going crazy speculating, but the first thing that crosses my mind is that it is the Wii Sports disc, but Nintendo certainly is a firm of many secrets, so one never knows.
Stay tuned for further updates as we'll try to figure out what it is.

Don't think its Wii Sports as the box clearly says "Wii Startup Disc". Maybe its just a bunch of little demos and setup features... the Mii creator and such.. I guess we'll find out soon enough
Aww the Wii, is so small and cute
It most likely has the "free-for-a-while" Opera browser on it.
I think it will hold the calibration setup and an interactive user guide. Isn't Opera meant to be a free downloadable? Hopefully it will have some demos on it.
So interesting reading these comments 14 years later knowing
it was just a last minute firmware update that was never meant to make it to the public.
