Hopefully we get this and the X series, and possibly the Wily Wars as I haven't played that one ever. That is probably wishing too much though.

Re: Review: MadStone (WiiWare)

I accidentally downloaded this and I actually like the music quite a bit! Sounds very 16 bit like Riverman Jacob said and I have to say though, that even though arcade mode is over quickly, the game itself can be quite fun. The only thing I dislike is that the Quakes are a little on the cheap side. Good overall though and very impressive that the game is only 89 blocks and made by 2(or is it 3?) people!

@x.SuperMario.x
Still bitter about Bplus I see. And for good reason too. The game is only 800 points however, so it isn't so much a jump off the deep end like Plattchen's 1000-1500 price tag.

Re: The DSi – One Step Closer to a Portable Virtual Console?

@Badknux
I have a DS Lite that I got when they first came out and let's just say that the little guy has been through some bad scrapes and the thing still works amazingly well! If there is one thing besides making great games that Nintendo is known for, it is that their consoles, handhelds especially, are durable little suckers. Game Boy anyone?

@WarioFan63
Thanks!

Gradius 2 looks good but I have enough shmups right now so I might actually go with MadStone, because of its very cool logo and I've heard multiplayer is quite fun.

@Riverman Jacob
Thanks for joining the site and I hope your game does well!

Re: Wahoo Studios / NinjaBee Interview: Boingz

One thing I do like about most of these devs for WiiWare games, is that they seem very down to earth and don't seem robotic or repeating the same information. For that I respect them.

"A mere 1000 points." Umm...a thousand points really isn't that cheap for a downloadable game, but that does all depend on how fun the game turns out.

"You never need to worry about screwing up." That worries me, because if the game is too easy I might not want to play the game again because of lack of challenge.

We still have a bit to wait yet so I will see how the game turns out. Hopefully the physics engine is fun to mess with!

Re: A Look Inside The Mega Man Boutique

@ Jeph
Yeah, it'd be pretty hard to screw it up because mostly there is no plot, the graphics are simple and such things as clipping and sprite limitations are ignored for the most part, and the music already sounds awesome. But if it were me as a developer, I'd start making some 16 and 32-bit games already.

Re: Nintendo Responds To US Release Date Queries

Raukuun

Why can't Nintendo just say like "So and so games are to be released this week and next week it will be these games." Why do they have to be so secretive about everything? And if a game is delayed for whatever reason, can't they just say it will be and explain why? Why is that so difficult!?
