I am a dubs all the way kinda person when it comes to anime (even if it is bad at times) but with previous atelier games the dub annoyed me so much that i switched straight to JP anyway.
I still have Ryza 1 new and sealed (OOF) so I think I will play that before grabbing this; actually be sensible for once. The time limits in the series stressed me out too much after many a try with them (I suck I know) but wanted to dive into the non timed ones including Ryza since I loved the gameplay other than that.
Gaming since the GBC and no injuries as of yet, except when I sprained my ankle playing ring fit because I'm such a couch potato...let's say that thing got traded in pretty fast after that...
my 3DS control stick fell off before my hands so much as cramped and the switch, nearly every free moment is playing that thing and I wouldn't have it any other way.
But seriously if i hurt or live less time because of Nintendo its the price I would pay for living my life happy and exactly the way I want to.
I have this thing where I 'pretend that I beat a game' and watch the ending cinematics if i feel it's too hard or i'm flat out not enjoying it anymore. 'gitting gud' involves the game actually gripping and motivating you, if not buh bye it's uninstall or sell time.
Playing Hyrule Warriors AOC that i got for Christmas and I'm really surprised by how much content there is and how hooked it's keeping me. When I do burn out though I have VOEZ as my chill out game that i bought in one of the recent sales. I DEFINATELY will go back to rune factory 4 since i cheated on it with Zelda but I don't think I was ready for that kind of commitment.
Realised this after me and my sis teamed up to buy mum a switch and NH this year after I introduced her to new leaf and let her (permanently it seems) borrow my 3DS for 2020's lockdowns.
Though it wasn't a biggie for us personally because she couldn't leave her NL villagers behind for new year so just celebrated with them and she just came to our developed NH towns.
Made the bad decision of letting my mum grab Sakuna of rice of ruin for me this year for Christmas so I'm only just playing it now. Oh my that game is a stunner and SO addictive <3
@BenAV hehe you can remove me if i get annoying. BOTW is the first switch game i bought and only just playing it now OOF that backlog XD though i'm sure you can relate
@BenAV I'm that creepy person that randomly added you on the switch never was very good at this whole making friends thing... I have to say i love your taste in games as well as how much you play.
Have senpai levels of admiration of you. hope you don't mind was stalking incase you've found any hidden gems, cause missing awesome games kinda gives me anxiety XD
@WCB ^this No games coming out and that's a good thing XD always confuses me when people moan about it. Do they never just go through the ESHOP and play something other than big N releases? Thinking i will die before I get through my backlog
Now animal crossing has turned into an hour (if that) that daily routine, its freed up some time to get through my ever growing backlog.
Playing Mario and Rabbids of all things, bought it ages ago on one of the sales and never got round to it until now... what they say is true, the two franchises really do mesh well and im so addicted to this game right now. Never played a turn based tactical game before but i have to say its really refreshing using your brain for once instead of just hammering the A button
@LavaTwilight I've played all except city folk. Exactly that's what i mean. It was nice to play it for 10 hours a day but there's something comforting about checking in every day
I really did not need mystery dungeon. I played the originals and have so much in my backlog but I caved hard. Played it for 10 hours straight yesterday and intend to do the same till animal crossing is in my hands, only got 1 boss done as well as I was just completing requests for the hell of it. I love games that just grab a hold of you and suddenly it's bedtime and can make you forget about everything for a while.
It really doesn't deserve all the bad reviews the quality of life changes are insane! but maybe I have my nostalgia goggles on.
Doraemon story of seasons 60+ hours in and still loving it. Also playing ring fit adventure for 10 mins at least per day. The switch made me fat it can sure as hell unfat me, but damn my arms ache, that game should come with a public health warning for thicc couch potatoes like me :')
I won't be playing anything cause I have work to do >.< If I did have time i'd play doraemon story of seasons; need to scratch that farming itch and hopefully even though it's a crossover game, it'll be able to do it.
Also intreiged by a knights quest as well that looks pretty fun. Hope that godamn goose game goes on sale soon >.<
Ooh there is so much out this month! just got done beting Zelda yesterday and have started up Marenian Tavern Story: Patty and the Hungry God (budget title but still great) Wanted A relaxing little RPG sim to sink my teeth into and it fits the bill just nicely

Chipping away at the behemoth that is RF4S as well as trying (and failing badly) at the challenge stages in Touhou spell bubble.

AC is trailing off for me now. Went ham on it for a couple weeks now I just go on to do dailies, my backlog isn't gonna play itself after all.
