@jarvismp I played docked with no problem. Granted, I also play N64 games on original hardware at their original 240i resolution, so it's hard to get at me.

@sanderev I would take a system as sluggish as the Wii U if it just meant this $300 console had the features of a $300 console.

@TruthisRare I really wouldn't hold out for GameCube regardless. At the absolute best, we're getting N64. There's no way they'd put out a GameCube Online app, not with the money that's in it for them in selling individual remasters.

I don't get why people are so bent out of shape over the HD Rumble. You /really/ miss that weak, anemic little Wii Remote vibration? I mean, yeah, for $100 it had better be there, but /really/?

I still find it hard to justify Skyrim at that price. It's also too bad Eternal never got a physical release, I ended up buying it on PS4 because of that.

I love stuff like this. Lowkey hoping a development build of GoldenEye is floating around out there somewhere with a playable Sean Connery still wedged in the multiplayer.

@Retro_Player_77 Maybe not wannabe, but it did take the idea of "home console you can take on the go" and run with it, marketing and all. It's not a huge deal, Sega's influenced all three console manufacturers in some way down the line.

As someone who hates the Smash community as well as Nintendo's scummier practices, this is all quite a joy to watch.

@BenAV In what world are folders pointless? It's literally organization features to keep the library less cluttered and more usable.

I'd put Kirby higher up on the list, above Zelda, simply because it doesn't make me want to cease existing when I go back to it in the modern age.

@Aneira I feel like TES 6 is going to continue Bethesda's trend of making RPGs as wide as an ocean with the depth of a puddle. Ever since Morrowind, they've been watering down their games in hopes of winning over the same audience that TES: Blades caters to. Only TES: Blades is more obvious about it.

@dewokkel Switch is a hybrid marketed by Nintendo as a home console first. The Lite is the dedicated handheld.

Regardless of whether or not you would personally use the app, arguing against more usability for this $300 device seems more than a little silly to to me. For example, I have a phone and a dozen other devices that have YouTube, but that hasn't stopped me from clocking 300 hours on the Switch's YouTube app, thanks to it starting up faster than my PS3/4, and having a snappier interface than my smart TV.
