Considering the fact that the 2DS is aimed towards children 7 and under and the fact that it will be released along with Pokémon XY, I can only come to one conclusion. Nintendo is trying to introduce the new generation to Pokémon. (Ain't I genius?) If it's true, I hope they'll succeed! Also, I actually like the design, don't know why.

@Spoony_Tech I don't know about other people but I liked MarioParty DS more than MarioParty 8. Still great games though!
