@Dm9982 Not saying you are wrong but the thing is the only reason that MS have come across so consumer friendly is because they are in third place and if they started acting arrogant like Sony have been for quite a while now it would be disastrous for them. A lot of the features they introduced such as backwards compatibility etc was all because of the complete dumpster fire that was the Xbox One launch and them going back on a lot the things that Xbox One was originally going to have. They were pretty much laughed out the room when they unveiled the Xbox One and how it was going to operate (always online, couldn't use second hand games on it etc)
@Pupuplatter I think the game struggled at points even on the PS4 Pro especially when it first came out. So the fact that they got it running as well as it does on Switch is amazing.
@Ryu_Niiyama Yeah as soon as the update for Home compatibility with the second dlc is released you will be able to transfer the starters from any of the previous Pokemon games, like how you can now transfer in Charmander, the Gen 6, 8 and Legends Arceus starters from the previous games using Home.
@EVIL-C Yeah that's my main concern too as I have more physical games than digital games. Maybe they could do something similar to the DS Lite where it had a cartridge slot at the bottom for GB Advance games.
@RupeeClock The whole having to have Pokemon registered in the pokedex before you can transfer them only applies to Pokemon coming from Pokemon Go. You can transfer Pokemon from older games without any issue.
I am starting to wonder if they are purposely holding back Home connectivity to Scarlet/Violet until after they have done all the event tera raids for the starter Pokemon that will be transferable once Home connectivity is released (Gen1,6 & 8). Bit annoying if that's the case.
@WillQuan Which version did you play? I only ask because I also had minimal issues in my playthrough and I played from day 1. At most I had a couple of freezes in Tera Raid battles and I noticed how janky people seem to walk around the towns etc. which were more amusing than game breaking. I played Scarlet and a few other people that played Scarlet also said they didn't have too many problems. However it seemed that a lot more people had issues playing Violet but then I couldn't say why there should be a difference between them. End of the day I couldn't tell you if there is any difference between the versions performance wise but that I gain nothing from lying about my own personal experience with Scarlet.
@Serpenterror There was never a Soul Edge 2 & 3, just a Soul Edge version 2 in the arcades which had a couple of minor changes made and Soul Blade was the name of Soul Edge when it released on Playstation 1 in Europe. After Soul Edge was Soul Calibur and it's sequels.
@AcridSkull Was it? Where was that as it's always been £50 whenever I have seen it in shops since launch which is still more than most of the other Switch games (physical copies). The only other game that is normally £50 is Smash Bros on Switch. Most physical games launch between £35 and £45 depending on the game.
@the_beaver Hate to break it to you but there hasn't been a definitive version since Ultra Sun & Moon. Sword & Shield had dlc just like Scarlet & Violet will no doubt have.
@riChchestM Dunno if it nationwide but in the town where I live and a couple of other places Game closed their store and is now inside at the back of Sport & Soccer.
@Silly_G Technically BDSP is a Gen 8 game so you might be able to send Pokemon from those to SW/SH if the Pokemon are in the SW/SH Pokedex. You can't transfer from Let's Go to SW/SH because Let's Go is classed as Gen 7. It is only a one way transfer going forward a Gen. It's why you could transfer Pokemon back and forth between ORAS and X/Y because even though ORAS is a remake of Gen 3 it is still classed as Gen 6 along with X/Y.
@Highlar If they do cross save the same way that Bungie did it with Destiny 2 then once you choose to enable it you will have to pick a 'master' account which is the one you use on all platforms. Destiny 2 had the same issues that Warframe will have in the sense that for people who had accounts on different platforms and bought silver (the in game currency you buy for real money) on each of those accounts would only retain it on the 'master' account as it would overwrite the others. Basically it didn't merge any items and currency you bought or loot you acquired in game.
@GamerGrandpa He may have older siblings. I am 42 and my Dad turned 88 a couple of weeks ago, I am the youngest of 5 kids with my oldest brother being 61. It is not as uncommon as you obviously believe.

@jco83 Gamecube could play Gameboy and Gameboy Advanced games through the tv using an accessory but I get what you are saying.

Re: Pokémon Bank Will Be "Free To Use" When 3DS eShop Purchases End
@Jokerwolf I thought that Bank was a paid subscription from the start when it launched in 2014? (except for the free month when Home launched)

@Jokerwolf ahem 6 subscribers, I still use Bank from time to time lol!
Re: Pokémon Brilliant Diamond And Shining Pearl: How To Catch Heatran
Highest at level 70? Mewtwo was level 70 in Let's Go and Calyrex says hello at level 80 lol
