Always nice to see things get archived and not simply fade to obscurity.

While I lament some changes in design, I understand, and I appreciate the way they made the changes less glaring.
I haven't been this excited for a game in ages.

I believe my opinions to hold merit, as had just played the original a week prior.
The physics and hitboxes are off, I was making jumps I couldn't in the original, and likewise incapable of jumps I could do in the original.
The music is hit and miss, I think they did great with the level music, but the title music isn't great.
The visuals are, and I know it sounds a bit cliche; soulless, sterile, and overall unappealing to my tastes.
Like, what's with the stock imagery?
I was on the fence about the remake, and the demo didn't win me over.
I still think it's gonna be a great way to let younger players play the game, but players of the original may find it has little over the original.

I sure can't wait till that "soon" arrives 😁

I know I'm missing some, but these are the games that stand out in my mind as good times.

Ah yes, because Nintendo has always been about emulating the competition.
In all seriousness, I would love Nintendo to be on the same level as the competition, but Nintendo has always prioritized lower costs over impressive tech.

My main has received nothing but buffs since the beginning, here's hoping I can go the whole cycle without a single nerf.

I am so happy about this, OoT is one of the greatest games ever made, and to have it conserved to this degree makes me happy.

I play it once a week or so.

It wouldn't bother me if they bothered to give the characters outlines, and shorter arms.

That's great for me, because I haven't played any of the Wii and GameCube Zelda's.

Laffen's list is pretty dang inaccurate;
I mean, Dr. Mario above MARIO Mario, Megaman being at the bottom when he's overall improved, and Pichu and Pikachu being in the same tier despite Pichu just being a much worst version of Pikachu.(-range +recoil, Bless Pichu's cute soul)
Yeah, it's definitely too early to have the tier list decided when we have such big differences in each.

Or you know, the game makes Pokémon veterans feel like their beloved franchise is headed to a terrible death.

If you are part of the Pokémon community then you would know exactly why this title is getting so much flack.

@RupeeClock Nah that's not remotely true. The sunken scrolls show male Octolings in Splatoon. The mooks in Splatoon are Octarians not Octolings except in those few Octolings stages. The Splatoon Art book also has lore, it's quite fascinating.
