Re: The Witcher 3 Switch eShop File Size Revealed

@Tasuki
It's not Nintendo being greedy, it's the development team charging for a port that probably required thousands of hours of work by people with more skills at development than any one of us can claim. If you don't like it fine, don't buy it or wait for a sale, but stating Nintendo are being greedy for a 3rd party dev pricing this as a full price game is just wrong

Re: Rumour Buster: That New Switch Firmware 5.0 Leak Is Amazing, But Fake

Morlock5K

I believe it is fake but the reasons given don't prove a thing. As mentioned by someone else here the YouTube app old logo is still used by other consoles.

The size of Mario Kart is irrelevant as it could be a fake icon, as in the OS is being tested only and the games are dummies, this would explain the inconsistency with file size, another option could be they are using an internal build of Mario Kart with less levels, again for testing only, far fetched but possible.

There is also A font inconsistency but this again doesn't mean a thing, the beta OS may have different fonts for different parts of it.

I still believe this to be fake but the reasons given aren't solid enough!

Re: Editorial: Mandatory Memory Cards for Switch Retail Games is a Messy Solution

Morlock5K

Someone on Spawnwaves recent YouTube video made a very valid comment which if true totally negates this big 2K issue.

The download version from stores still comes in a box with a download code, this box states an SD card is required because the download is larger than what is left of system memory. The physical version doesn't come out for another month and there is nothing to say that won't utilise the full 32gb of card storage size.

If this is true then the whole issue, isn't an issue.

Hope that me sense

Re: This 400GB Micro SD Card Looks Perfect For Switch Owners

Morlock5K

Although I won't be even considering buying one this is great news. The sooner the larger capacity cards come to market the better as it reduces the "small" cards cost. In a couple of years the smallest cards will probably be the 64gb ones. We've come a long way from the 80's 5 and a quarter floppies!

@immensechicken Lol. Mine came Saturday! Loving it so far. It starts off super easy but is getting more challenging all the time. Hasn't scratched hard yet but I'm loving how the new mechanics are being introduced. May even get the season pass.

Re: Square Enix's Hajime Tabata Hints That Final Fantasy XV Could Be Coming To Switch

I think I would pick up either version for the Switch. Would prefer the high end graphics (toned down for the Switch) or the cute graphics as long as the story and gameplay are there. What would be impressive would be high end graphics in docked mode and then jumps straight to cute in handheld. Can't see this happening though as it's completely different style so may be different engine running the new version
