@Tasuki
It's not Nintendo being greedy, it's the development team charging for a port that probably required thousands of hours of work by people with more skills at development than any one of us can claim. If you don't like it fine, don't buy it or wait for a sale, but stating Nintendo are being greedy for a 3rd party dev pricing this as a full price game is just wrong
Although that is really expensive this is also great. Whenever new larger cards come out the lower capacity drop in price as well generally. The 1tb will be very expensive for a few years but as more and more companies bring them out and the process for making them becomes more efficient then we will see better prices and then the 2tb card will come
Think this was going to be one of the "available now" parts of the direct. I still very much respect the decision to postpone it but looks like it will be a great direct
@Nincompoop You can hack the Switch without touching the joycon, it's the rail the joycon attaches to where the exploit is done from on the Switch itself. Sure, you can mod a joycon to do the hack but it's as easy as sticking a paper clip in the rail correctly
I believe it is fake but the reasons given don't prove a thing. As mentioned by someone else here the YouTube app old logo is still used by other consoles.
The size of Mario Kart is irrelevant as it could be a fake icon, as in the OS is being tested only and the games are dummies, this would explain the inconsistency with file size, another option could be they are using an internal build of Mario Kart with less levels, again for testing only, far fetched but possible.
There is also A font inconsistency but this again doesn't mean a thing, the beta OS may have different fonts for different parts of it.
I still believe this to be fake but the reasons given aren't solid enough!
@roadrunner343 La Noire is not Bethesda, it's Rockstar, another huge 3rd party. I'm hoping that does well so GTA 5 may come, although I reckon they'll bring that anyway.
Someone on Spawnwaves recent YouTube video made a very valid comment which if true totally negates this big 2K issue.
The download version from stores still comes in a box with a download code, this box states an SD card is required because the download is larger than what is left of system memory. The physical version doesn't come out for another month and there is nothing to say that won't utilise the full 32gb of card storage size.
If this is true then the whole issue, isn't an issue.
Although I won't be even considering buying one this is great news. The sooner the larger capacity cards come to market the better as it reduces the "small" cards cost. In a couple of years the smallest cards will probably be the 64gb ones. We've come a long way from the 80's 5 and a quarter floppies!
@immensechicken Lol. Mine came Saturday! Loving it so far. It starts off super easy but is getting more challenging all the time. Hasn't scratched hard yet but I'm loving how the new mechanics are being introduced. May even get the season pass.
It has so far only been announced for the Sony products. I would remain hopeful that there will be a Switch announcement closer the time. We have seen this before where Nintendo have waited until closer to release to allow companies to announce the games. Hopefully this will also pave the way for the sequel being translated in the west
I personally like the look of this. All depends on the price to be honest. Also if it gets continued support after release. Either way one to put in reserve until a sale if needed.
I think I would pick up either version for the Switch. Would prefer the high end graphics (toned down for the Switch) or the cute graphics as long as the story and gameplay are there. What would be impressive would be high end graphics in docked mode and then jumps straight to cute in handheld. Can't see this happening though as it's completely different style so may be different engine running the new version

@Heavyarms55
Cool, I would be more excited for the GB GBC and GBA titles than the SNES. So many awesome games!
Re: Rumour: SNES Games Might Be Coming To Switch Sooner Than You Think
@Heavyarms55
I hope it's a GBA emulator as this may cover game boy and game boy colour by default and that would save the other emulator for N64

Never played Steep. Is it any good? Is it anything like SSX or is it more realistic? Prefer ott to realism

Re: Feature: Vote For Your 2017 Nintendo Life Game of the Year
BOTW for me and closely followed by Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Mario is definitely in my top 5 but not sure where. Think Disgaea 5 would be 3rd.
