I'm surprised more mentions of the stuttering and visual lag haven't surfaced, at least based on the demo. I've gone back to play it a few times this past week and every time I'm hit with how jerky the movements and screen are: it's very unpleasant. (This is on a N3DSXL.)
Just a clarification note... The tense of the title is a bit misleading, since "is getting" makes it sound like the demo hasn't been released yet. But then the body text says (twice) that it's already released. Not a big deal, just a little confusing. I'd update the title to "has a Demo" or something similarly present-tense.
@Yorumi Thanks Yorumi. I found the checkbox and checked it that same day--well before the deadline--and still didn't receive anything in the mail. Oh well.
So... how do you actually sign up for the newsletter? I'm already a Trainer Club member but have never received any emails, nor can I find an opt-in link anywhere on the site.
> When you start you won't have much more than a set of basic tools, like a sword, axe and pickaxe.
For some reason this bugged me. Do you get a random set of tools? Or does everyone start with a sword, axe, and pickaxe. If it's the latter, "...like a..." doesn't make sense because it would actually be the more definitive "...a set of basic tools: a sword, axe, and pickaxe."
@Serebii I think you missed my point: I never said they "promised", I said it's odd to promote global-ness at release and then drop it after that. It's not just this one, it's every other event/special Japan's had since then that the rest of the world hasn't or never will.
For as big a deal they made of their "simulatenous global release", the non-Japan bonuses to X/Y elsewhere sure have been paltry or nonexistant. Why tout equality like that and then totally ignore it after the fact?
Forgive my ignorance, but how is a cradle setup any better than just leaving the a/c adapter plugged into the wall and hooking the 3DS up to it directly? What's the benefit here?
Surprised no one's said this yet, but given the game's France-influenced location, Fennekin's second evo apperance absolutely screams "french maid outfit"...
My guess is that Chespin will be like Butterfree, where it starts out normal, then cocoons, then becomes something more menacing.
I'm thoroughly confused... So is NA not getting the original BD at all, but rather an updated BD:FTS version? And if so, is it FTS that's still being developed to possibly remove things like turn-based combat, or is that a third sequel? I thought the game was being released soon into 2014, but it sounds like that may not be the case after all, if it's going through all this renovating.

Re: Video: Latest Mighty No. 9 Trailer Dials Up The Ridiculousness
I realize it's just a commercial/video, but the voiceover ruins it for me. He's trying too hard to channel Batman from the LEGO Movie.

Man... This news REALLY makes me wish All-Stars was available on the 3DS.

FREAKING FINALLY.

"...Not only does it revoke interest in many players..."
Should that "revoke" be "promote" instead?
