In 2006, while I was in high school, I went on an EF Tours trip to France (from Canada). I knew I was going to have trouble with international calls and didn’t want the headache. Still, I felt sort of bad that my family and I would be out of touch for ten days.

Then it hit me! The very last thing I did on my way out the door was grab my sister’s DS. I started up Wild World, made her character write a letter to herself, and set it for delivery for a week in the future.

When I got home the first thing my sister said was that she got my letter to her and it made her so happy. It still makes me feel fuzzy when I hear about how excited she was to get a letter from me in France on Animal Crossing.

The fact that the most pertinent allusion that this parasite is capable of is a refence to a Batman “film” is quite telling about his intellectual depth.

Also, glad he’s no longer there to run Square Enix further into the sludge. May his current employer suffer his incompetence instead.

The bubble game is actually pretty fun once you figure out what to do. Looking forward to getting this on my niece and nephew’s switches.

The fact that it’s only on the Japanese Eshop isn’t so bad, as there is next to no text present, and what is is in English.

This is 100% the fault of Donald J. Trump. I’ve never seen Nintendo do this before, then they do it for the first time during his extremely aggressive trade war. It takes no genius to understand this situation.

Back when the 3DS came out they literally dropped the price to increase sales. Of course, the world, or at least the US, was run better back then.

It’s sad to see members of a certain destructive cult trying to disguise their glee at people, and especially journalists, losing their jobs.

Journalists of all sorts and stripes make an essential contribution to a dynamic and and strong society. Their work is deeply appreciated by myself and many others

Instead of tearing people and society down, perhaps they should try to build something themselves, if they have any valuable skills or expertise whatsoever, that is.

Myself, I consider most reporting on anything political in some sense or another. Unlike some people, that doesn’t have me clutching my pearls.

I actually find this site fairly political, but in the good way. Informed and compassionate reporting is exactly what I am looking for.

I agree, that’s normal, and I’m not upset. But I’m inclined to believe the United States and its citizens’ decision are the main driver in much of this current price and absolutely certain it will be the reason for any further potential increases.

You Americans must be getting tired of WINNING. All good up here in the great white north, though.

Jack Quaid as Link. He could be slightly less frantic than Boimler but still a touch funny.

I was expecting to block half the commenters, but luckily Nintendo fans seem to be an unusually sane bunch.

I’m just going to go back to Subnautica so I can launch my escape beacon roleplaying as Captain William Boimler lost in the multiverse.

That feels more like a Star Trek game than this.

All the Xbox players I know seem to despise Microsoft and a lot of the gamers I talk to seem to be switching to PC lately. I expect Xbox will go before PlayStation and become some kind of app.

I have played the translation, and one day I intend to play through it in Japanese, but that’s gonna be a while. Although I really do enjoy Mother 3, it doesn’t feel like a part of who I am like Earthbound does.

Ugh, that is not the art style I ever want in anything. It should stay in the nineties.

Earthbound is probably my favorite game of all time. I don’t know if I’ll ever find another game that will affect me like it did.

Tintin Reporter?

What a brainlessly stupid title. I love Tintin but I don’t believe there has ever been a good Tintin game.

Indeed it would! I’m not pretending to be reasonable.

Although I enjoyed it well enough, all I really want from Paramount is oodles and oodles of Star Trek. Anything that eats away at Trek budgets is on my naughty list.

People are too obsessed with technical metrics. The game runs and plays just fine. It’s also a good deal of fun, for anyone who is still looking to actually have some.

Jack Quaid as Link! He’s adorable, nerdy, and can play an earnest and heroic character.

I think it’s ironic how so many people are saying that they wish this was animated after all the whining about cell-shading back when Wind Waker and its spin-offs were made.

Setting aside nitpicking about a film we know next to nothing about, I’m so excited to find out who will play Link.

I’d cast Jack Quaid, because I I adore him in everything he appears in and I feel like a Brad Boimleresque interpretation of Link would be lovely.

It makes me sad that Nintendo is so much less interested in accessibility now than it was back in the NES days. That old controller was so ahead of its time.

Perhaps they haven’t seen the unbelievable ports that I have. I know there are limitations, but I have a number of games that I never would have believed could run on Switch until I saw them do it.
