Anyway, I have digressed long enough - many good games this week, Just rocket league for me for now as Christmas is coming up and asked for a few games for xmas (skyrim, xenoblade, doom etc) - Rocket league is just like the other ones (had it on the ps4 previously) just obviously lower res, but once you are driving around and trying to panic not to let goals in you wont worry about how it looks! So i recommend everyone who has an interest to pick it up! ^^

Me and my girlfriend had a couple of games in bed and just put the switch between us laying down, and since it flipped over the screen for each side we was facing it was great and could just relax and play it (could never do that with an actual board), pieces will move and its just easier to do on a switch).

There are numerous modes/rules you can do or can just do the plain classic one - a fair amount of tokens to unlock as well as you progress along doing different things. Game saves at the end of a move automatically so can pick up where you left off as and when - got 3 saved slots for different games u might have on the go as well if you need them.

Could it do with more boards...probably, but at the end of the day its monopoly - 2 classic boards, 3 living boards and its £25 and only just come out...and its ready to go always, no set up and can just play when you want...its why I prefer "board games" on the switch.

I also dunno what mini games the reviewer would be talking about..it wouldn't be monopoly if it had mini games...maybe he wants it so when you buy a house for a street you have to physically build the house as a mini game >_> - its a board game you take your turn and move on, no gubbins!

I don't think the patch is out yet but literally if you turn the console off after doing the normal day one update or whatever it is, there is no issue and it loads in a few seconds.

I enjoy playing the game with other people offline, so from my perspective yes.

You need to listen less to what other people say and pick games you think you will enjoy.

You could say that for any game on a phone.......its always cheaper..

Also I got it for £24.99 which is a fair price - plus PS4 version has been out for 3 years now.........its like saying its a poor price as I can buy the DS version for 5 quid >_>

One thing you didn't mention that is cool, is when you are playing with say 2 people, you can select top down view and lay the switch down on its back, it then asks you to select which side of the switch you are facing and it then spins the game around for the person whos turn it is, that was you can be both on opposite sides of the switch and still both have the same view on your turn

The PS4 has 1000gb of storage and the switch 32gb - PS4 games are on disc and need to be installed as the disc doesn't spin fast enough to read the data - the point of cartridges is so that you don't need to install data, it is all readable from the cartridge and so no install required - we don't need to "get over ourselves" - we just expect better

The Wii U was "hindered" by the gamepad and could of been a lot more powerful without it.

And as for your comment about the price difference - so are developers suppose to go "our game has been out for a year and we want to bring it to the switch, but since its now £10 on the PS4 we best charge the same on the switch..hang on cant do that can we as we will make no money, so lets not bother bringing it out at all" - you really think anything would get ported over if they done that and the developers would make zero money which means no new games or ports or anything - you total, utter moron.

If you know the servers will be down in 20 years what difference does it make if you have to download them now? if you had any other console you would know they put out many many patches that will "ruin" them for future - stop pretending this is Nintendos problem when it isnt, if the game has no patches then the entire single player game will be playable for years and years to come with no issues - its like you ignore everything that is happening in the world and just choice to be an arse all the time - and then keep saying how its your "opinion" - might be nice you have a positive opinion for once - you constantly come on the switch games news even though you havent got one and have no intention of getting one at the moment and you wonder why people have a problem with you...you are nothing but a troll and a fool and you dont belong here.

I suspect its just wanting to release it "complete" as possible on the cartridge to start with, people may be buying cartridges to save on memory space/not have a micro sd card - if they release a game that requires 5gb or 10gb of updates or something stupid people wouldn't be happy

I think everyone was getting at the fact that what is on the cartridge stays on the cartridge - updates are on the system itself - the way you worded it sounded like you can add updates to the cartridge, which isn't how it works and likely caused the confusion

That is such a poor example - considering the amount of terrorist in the world I don't think it would be a good idea to promote how to create weapons of destruction - sadly they are fools in this world who would do it and it would cause pain to other people...so I don't agree with that example at all.

Knowledge is power - and yet it isn't, looking at the people who are in power at the moment knowledge has nothing to do with it.

Just because "most people" are sane normal people it doesn't mean everyone is - doing journalism on hacking a system is promoting it, regardless of what you think - it is teaching people it can be done and showing people progress is made, and once it has been done fully and Nintendolife DO do a piece on it (which they will as it is "news" then more people will know about and probably look into it. - the amount of dodgy roms and crap I saw on the Nintendo DS for example was mind boggling - so many people had "cartridges with 120 games on it" - if you are a parent and a kid wants some games are you going to spend 5 grand on 120 games that would last them a lifetime or are you gonna spend £50 on a cartridge with every game they want on it...for most people who have little money the choice is obviously and they wont care it is fake or not.

There is a difference in how things are done - Nintendolife will follow this story now and do regular updates, which I don't think is correct. - and as Shiryu compared it to a bomb - there is a difference if the news say for example "Terrorist attack kills 10 people with home made bomb" and "Terrorist attack kills 10 with home made bomb, on the follow few weeks episodes we are going to find out how they done it and give you updates on how to make it yourself" like its a god dam cooking show.

Just as a final note - knowledge is power - it really isn't - you say its your choice to do with it and it is...if you have discovered stuff and are doing things "illegal" or not quite fully legal for your own self discovery then great, its good to expand knowledge - you don't then put this knowledge all over the internet when you know the world is full of idiots who will exploit it

That is just stupid and wrong - once the switch has been hacked properly are you going to then promote this "news" (I don't see it as news at all) and then give detailed accounts of how it happened, links to who done it and show people how they can do it themselves, after all, news is news and information is information - by that logic everyone in the world should find out how they can lie and cheat the system (not just the switch but "the system") since that is information that shouldnt be withheld to everyone - Just because there are people out there who like to lie and cheat and hack things doesnt mean it should be promoted as to how they done it for everyone else to see how they done it - that is far more damaging than with-holding so called news on people hacking the system...

preordered the special collectors edition for £64 from there website, not bad price for the extras

I must have been lucky to get my disgaea 5 from amazon then...but looking at pretty much every game site I know everyone seems to be sold out of disgaea 5....would suggest it sold really well....... :/

Would have found it more interesting if you had added another line to the table at the end that gives the total figure, to show what is the "best" in that perspective, so adding the numbers for the characters and then adding and subtrating the plus and minus for the other bits - e.g. best are:

Best Characters:

Exactly that, dimenions wise (excluding depth) GB, GBC, GBA, DS and 3DS games have been more or less exactly the same...as its a "home" console they have to make the cases bigger
