No, there's no hacking involved. You just pay a small amount for a developer account and you can then boot into a developer mode where you can install Retroarch. I've got quite a few games and followed some guides from the Archades Youtube channel on how to set up

I'm definitely going to get this. Got it on PC but want to play it on a portable system

Got 12 games on the list and recently got Hades because everyone is saying how great it is but haven't played yet. Thought Animal Crossing would score higher and I personally think it should have been Game of The Year as it came along at perfectly the right time when we needed a light-hearted game to keep us busy in lockdown and because it was a social game when we were losing contact with family and friends. It was the perfect game for last year. Ori is also amazing

I've only played a bit so haven't had any crashes so far but i like the graphics style and the reload and jamming mechanic is interesting although its good you can disable it. I agree that it's worth the price, i have a few twin-stick shooters and this is probably the second most interesting after Enter The Gungeon

With a big backlog and being fairly old (50) I sometimes just want to get through a game and see all the story. It does depend on the game whether I still want a challenge, like The Last of Us 2 where I felt the world and story demanded a tough atmosphere

It's by the same people who made Hustle Kings on the PS4 which was a great pool game. Will be interesting to compare the snooker side of it with Snooker 19, which i own

I've been waiting for this one for ages so had forgotten all about it but happy to see it coming out and that's a very generous pre-order discount. @Mirage-5x5 I think it's definitely going to be the best pool game on the Switch

Both great games. Depends if you want a roguelike which will last a long time or a story-based game that has some great moments

I think Moon company are actually independent but just happen to produce games on Xbox, same as how Insomniac used to work before they got bought up by Sony. I also think the Cuphead studio is independent so possibly seeing the follow-up to that

They're both brilliant games but the first one is cheaper so it's probably best to start with that and see how you get on. The second one is an improvement so if there's anything you weren't too keen on in the first game then it's better in the second, like the combat was a bit weak in the first but much better in the second

Not interested in this game but it's great that a highly anticipated top quality new release is coming out.

Same here. Haven't finished the first game yet but had to get this straight away because i loved The Blind Forest (just too many games in backlog) Have this on PC Game Pass but haven't played it yet

I don't know why you're defending them. They are knowingly providing a faulty product and making no effort to fix the problem. Some countries don't even get the free replacements, they want to charge you to replace something that will then go faulty again almost immediately because the replacement is also a faulty product

I've had two sets of Joycons and both have problems with drift. I don't like how Nintendo have only provided the free replacements in some countries. For example it doesn't apply in the UK so i'm out of luck. It also is pretty bad that they have made absolutely no effort to fix it. Contrast that with Microsoft and the Red Ring of Death (ok, so that's a bit more serious!) They acknowledged the problem and took the hit to fix it and ended up selling as many consoles as the PS3. Doesn't look like it's affecting Switch sales so Nintendo is just ignoring it

Doesn't look like it's got co-op so Untitled Goose Game is still the king for multi-goose carnage

Adventure pals has got very small text that i have to squint to try and read but can't quite manage

I would trust the developer on this. I really like Big Ants games and I think they usually do a very good job of representing the sports they're simulating. I've got AO Tennis 2 and Cricket 19 and they're both some of the best sports games around that just could be better if they had bigger development budgets so hopefully BigBen are giving better resources to Big Ant and I think it's a good sign that they are going with a respected sports game developer.

I think it's considered a serious enough rule that anyone is disqualified but Nadal and Federer don't even react like that anyway. You never see them show any dissent really so that's part of why they're much more popular with fans than Djokovic.

AO Tennis 2 was a good game so with a bigger budget I think Tennis World Tour 2 will be pretty good

It's a rule for everyone, that if you hit someone, either official or crowd by hitting a ball in anger you are automatically disqualified from the tournament. What was wrong was he was arguing for around seven minutes that he should be treated differently, which is just out of order

This looks like it's been developed by a different developer, Big Ant Studios, who did AO Tennis 2 which was a good tennis game so it should be much better than the original game

I played this through with my neice on Wii U so really looking forward to doing that again on Switch

I'm not sure I agree that it looks like a phone game and videos can't really give you a proper idea. The graphics do a great job of giving you a feeling of speeding down a mountainside and sense of place (there's a nice depth-of-field focus effect) and when you crash you're straight back into the action. You could maybe try getting a GamePass for Windows sub for £1/$1 and download to try if you have a PC

I emailed the developers asking if there were going to be any more mountains released as DLC and they hinted at it, so happy to see this. Loved the game so will definitely get the DLC

I bought this on the Epic store and I haven't played a huge amount yet as I have a massive backlog but it's a very clever game with interesting puzzles and it looks gorgeous.

My favourite games are multiplayer for playing with my family so hope there's something cool i haven't got yet

They also need to speed up the eshop - it's ridicously slow & you can only scroll down a few rolls on the sales page before it requires a lengthy load so games further down are likely to be missed due to people running out of patience

Actually maybe the online bit isn't out yet but it's definitely got local multiplayer and splitscreen

No research on Grid Autosport which has now got local multiplayer and online and has had for a while after a patch. Also don't know why they have left off The Witcher 3

I absolutely love the games and have the Vita original, the PS4 remake and the second game on PS4. They're so original and fun and the characters are great which is why my icon is Kat!

I asked the developers if they would be porting this after playing Mark of The Ninja and they said they had no plans.....obviously that changed!

Docked mode is in a higher resolution so needs more performance

I agree with you. The Outer Worlds looks shocking and performs really badly yet gets a score of 8. Yeah Minecraft Dungeons has a few frame rate dips but it's not too bad. It's only real issue is it's a bit simplistic. The Outer Worlds is a good game on other platforms but Digital Foundry said they just can't recommend getting it on Switch

There wasn't any footage of the Borderlands or Bioshock games until release day and they turned out great. I wouldn't worry about it
