You see the whole of them not releasing the new wolfenstien is because they obviously believe it wouldn't sell well enough

But the truth is wolfenstien TNO wont sell that well on any platform.

How well did the last one perform ? 55k thats how well

There seems to be this myth that these kind of games do really well on "hardcore" consoles

And this just is not the case. If consumers see a steady flow of third party games on the wii u, not a watered down port of an old game there is no reason for that game not to perform well on nintendo consoles.

Ubi soft and WB are the only third party developers I think that has quality software to offer AT THIS TIME.

EA don't really have anything that has caught my attention, and neither has any other third party. I know this will change over time as all third parties have their greats.

If the Wii U was to loses Ubi's support I think that would be a massive blow, not only for their multi-plat's but also for their exclusive content.

I WANT A ZOMBI U SEQUEL, or maybe, just maybe a redsteel 3. I think another thing nintendo could do to help turn things around is aquire a few studios.

Why dont nintendo fund new IP's from third party developers the same way sony and microsoft do ?

Why don't the buy HVS and get a conduit 3 going or somthing that will appeal to that audience (including myself) to show that "this is our FPS, with online and all the trimmings that you can only get on Wii U"

Or even a racing or gta style game thats exclusive.

I dont think I'll be able to afford a PS4 at launch anyway, what with xmas round the corner and wii u games that I want the only people getting my money this year is nintendo

I know why do people still get all crazy for GTA games ?

I use to back in the day, but since san andreas I lost intrest. I also believe other companies have done the open world thing better than rockstar

I thought sleeping dogs was better than GTA4, I thought scarface was better than san adreas, even the new driver had fresh ideas.

And we have sleeping dogs around the corner which to me looks a million times better, but I guess it will sell a lot less than gta5, and we probably wont see a sequel.

I said it before and I'll say it again

All nintendo need to do is make a few smart moves here and there and BOOM, Job done.

They need to advertise the hell out of the Wii U and its upcoming software, then pull a price cut 1 day before the launch of PS4

You watch the turnaround happen before your very eyes.

In terms of games I believe nintendo showed off the best stuff out of all 3 companies.

The only reason everybody is in love with sony is because ps4 can play second hand games and doesnt require online check in's

But why should I be greatful for something that should come as standard ?

What I'm saying is, because microsoft look so bad it makes sony seem like saints. So sony are billed as the winners of this years E3, and to be fair the ps4 does look decent, but game wise what did they really show that looked "OMG, WOW"

But when I saw bayonetta 2, mario kart 8, and even wonderful 101, I got excited.

And thats more than I can say for the other 2 showings.

New IP's are needed.

What a load of rubbish, off screen play is the selling point for me alone. I cant even begin to describe how useful this feature is to me.

And devs are using it, zombi u, batman, splinter cell, watch dogs, COD, nintendo land etc

I'm sorry, say what you will but I'm so bored to death with FPS that this doesn't bother me one bit.

This game wont sell that well on any platform which defeats the whole point of not bringing it to the wii u.

FPS games are a dime a dozen now and although its not a good sign for the wii u, I personally am not bothered about this game.

I predict around 40K sales and after 1 or 2 months it will be in the bargin bin at asda.

I would have prefered metroid, but tropical freeze still looks great.

I think retro should do a beat em up, I think they would be good at that.

Personally I was pretty impressed with the wii u line up. Bayonetta 2 and X2 looked jaw dropping.

A little bit more of that kind of software, and I think the wii u will be a viable option compared to its rivals.

Heck, even that new sonic game looks really good, in fact I was more impressed with that then mario.

The sad thing is that the Wii U is a decent console with huge potential, I really cannot understand all the hate it's been getting.

If it had more games and developers treated it with respect I honestly believe that it could more than stand up against PS4 and especially XBOX WUN.

Shame, it almost seems like the Wii U is being bullied out of the next generation

Its funny how 360 fanboys were dissin the wii u, and now their beloved microsoft may have just created one of the worst consoles ever.

Awful news, my heartfelt condolences are with the family's involved.

In a way I'm glad to see that capcom recognize these things can sometimes be distasteful, and took the action they did.

Well I feel so let down by Nintendo (not the Wii U console itself, I think it's awesome) that I ended up trading in my Wii U due to lack of excitement and games.

I still have my PS3, and sony seem to have learnt from past mistakes and are going from strength to strength.

So if they carry on like they are then It's sony all the way for me.

Traded it, I am no longer a wii u owner

I will always have love for nintendo, and if they get their poop together I'd buy another one.

If microsoft and sony have any brains what so ever, they will learn from nintendo's mistake and make sure they avoid the same problem.

Also everybody keeps saying the PS4 will be overpriced, but you forget the wii u was £350 and the games are £50 new.

3ds was £230 at launch.

Success seems to bring the worst out in these companies, when they have a taste of failure it seems to make them rethink their actions and work harder to satisfy the consumer in terms of value and quality.

To be fair, rockstar games never really do that bad on nintendo consoles anyway

GTA china town wars broke the 1 million mark and even outsold the psp version, bully and manhunt 2 on wii didn't fare any worse than the other consoles these games were released on.

the fact nintendo acknowledge there is a problem with the wii u's games schedule is a really good step in the right direction.

what I think will also (possibly) give it an edge over the ps4 and nextbox is price.

@SCAR392 Well said, and I agree with you totally. Also everybody that I know or speak to that has a wii u are very happy with it and think It's an awesome console. The only people that dislike the wii u are sony or xbox fanboys, that would crap on anything nintendo did.
