I call it blind loyalty to a brand, I go where the games are, good ones that is.

And like I said, PS4 & X1 fail to impress. In fact this is the first time ever that new consoles have come out and I don't want them.

How on earth can the PS4 & X1 be rated higher than the Wii U when neither of them have any games worth playing ?

I just can't work that one out

As a huge horror fan, I find it somewhat wrong that Zombi U never gets a mention as a must have Wii U game. Zombi U brought terror and dispair back to survival horror games, something that other and more well known studios have failed to do in years.

And as for other must play games what about deus ex directors cut, NSMBU, sonic lost world, monster hunter, and nintendo land ?

And other multiplats like batman arkham city, splinter cell, AC4, NFS MW U, rayman legends, lego city undercover, lego marvel, COD ghosts, resident evil revelations, pikmin 3, and W101 ?

No it can't, the Wii U offered a brand new way to play games and had better launch games. Zombi U, NSMBU, nintendo land, ninja gaiden 3 (the proper version) plus a few good indy games.

And as for fifa and whatever, you can get those on PS3 or 360.

I'm gonna just say it, I personally wouldn't buy an X1 right now. It has no decent games and is way overpriced, and the only reason I can think of is just so people can "hey look, I got the new xbox"

If PS4 is under performing that the X1 will do even worse.

The gamecube failed because it was to much like the xbox and ps2.

nintendo are best when they do their own thing, the Wii U will catch on once the PS4 and X1 hype has died

I have played batman AO on both PS3 and I own it on Wii U and I know 100% which version runs and looks better and it aint PS3.

This and what they said about the Wii U version of splinter cell leave me in no question that DF have a bias against the Wii U.

As a person that has played both versions, I really don't know how DF can tell people that the Wii U version is the worst ??

The only people getting a PS4 at the moment are the fanboys, but who is left after that ? anybody with half a brain can see this console is nothing but hype. A name and brand can only get you so far, nintendo have been very stupid this past year.

But things have changed, the wii u now has games worth owning it for and that is more than I can say for X1 and PS4.

There isn't even any big games announced for the 1st quarterof next year ? make no mistake, these 2 consoles will suffer the same growing pains as wii u did, maybe worse.

Wii U has a very strong line up for next year, and as we all know games sell consoles.

I disagree with everything negative the reviewer has said. I loved arkham origins, and I'm currently enjoying blackgate on my 3ds.

Y'know, the one that needs as much exposure as possible.

I can only play COD with the wii-mote, I could never go back to thumb sticks. The only COD I ever got on my ps3 was black ops, I tried it, took it back and got the wii version.

TO ALL THOSE MOANING ABOUT LACK OF THIRD PARTY SUPPORT:

If the Wii U sales start to pick up to a good amount, third party support will return. These devs will find a way to get their games on to Wii U if the install base is big enough, trust me.

They should have done a COD ghosts bundle to, with a free digital copy of the game.

I know it's not the most talked about version, but it would have turned some heads and sold well enough.

Even if nintendo had to take a profit cut, it would have been worth it in the long run and helped convince people that Wii U is serious about all kinds of games.

product awareness, why doesn't nintendo understand these 2 words ?

The other day I was thinking about maybe getting an X1 or PS4, and then it hit me.........what games do these consoles have that I want or don't already have access to. NO GAMES, and I can't buy a new machine just for 1 or 2 games

I predict a 5-6 million sales in the first year for the PS4 and X1. And I think it will stay around that till a price cut

This is stupid, There hasn't been any EA games for the Wii U since NFS MW.

This is a company that made a handheld relevant in an age of smartphones. They still need to get their act together though, and fast.

I'm intrested to see how well the PSk4 and X1 do. I don't know anybody that is getting any of them, all the people I know are happy to stick with the PS3 or 360

Monster hunter is rubbish.

Bad controls, bad graphics, terrible fighting mechanics, hard to get into.

I dunno what they are smoking over there, but for some reason Japanese gamers don't seem interested in good games anymore, even the ones that are developed in their homeland.

A lot of people seem to really believe that the PS4 and X1 are gonna fly off the shelves and sell millions. Now that could be true, but I highly doubt it, and here's why.

Now at this moment in time there is almost no reason to want a PS4 or X1, I'm not hating, I'm just pointing out the obvious, there are not enough good games for these consoles at launch to warrant a day one purchase. What have you got, killzone for PS4, and dead rising 3 and forza for the X1, say what you like but these are the only worthwhile exclusives these consoles have, the rest are ports of current gen games.

Now lets move on to the fact that the graphics thus far have been pretty underwhelming, all these sony and MS fanboys were screaming about power and I think it's fair to say that this group of people have been let down. I recently played AC4 on the PS4 and I saw hardly any difference and if you had told me I was playing a PS3 game, I would have believed it.

And now the third and most important reason of all, expense. In order to get the most out of a PS4 at launch, your gonna need to part with at least £500, add another £100 if you looking to get X1. That is a LOT of money, remember gaming is not a necessity, it's not like gas, electric, or food, it's a hobby and a form of entertainment, nothing more.

Wii U, is now affordable, is growing a good library of games, FREE online, multiple control methods, a brand new device to enjoy games, and is backwards compatible.

PS4 and X1 offer none of the above

And to all these people saying the Wii U is dead because of whatever, remember that most people do most of the spending around christmas, most people will want to buy the Wii U and games as a gift for loved ones.

I would say at least 50% of the sony and MS fanbase consists of teenagers, now how many working class family's do you know that are going to be willing to spend £500+ and a video games console ?

A logo and bunch of die hard's can only carry them so far

Personally, I wouldn't have got it even if it did come to the Wii U. Still got loads left to do in most wanted, so why would I need a new NFS game ?

I really hope people give sonic lost world a chance, it's such a good game.

I'm sorry but I have to agree with EA on this one. I brought NFS MW U, but most Wii U owners turned their noses up at it.

So EA now thurn their nose up at the Wii U, blame those that didn't buy it (unless they already had it for another console, or just hate racing games) you had no excuse, the game was awesome.

This has actually done me a favour, I got sonic lost world today and I wanna finish that, plus deus ex will be falling through my letter box next week also. I can wait 2 weeks.

They should have also done a call of duty bundle, with a free download copy of the game.

They would have covered all the bases then, bundle wise.

well I already have this, because I have it on the Wii U with most of the dlc (the rest I don't care for)

Why didn't you get it on PS3 or 360 ?

Oh that's right, the screen tearing makes the game almost unplayable, yet you call the Wii U version a rushed port, despite the effort put into the touch screen integration, and the beautiful graphics in this game.

You just can't please some people, my friend has this game on his 360, loading times aside, the Wii U version destroys it.

What on earth is wrong with gamers today ?

I would have liked crysis 3 though, shame EA are being a bunch of idiots, and in regards to Wii U future I say as long as it's gets the same quality software that the Wii did (key word there, quality) I will be happy.

Also when I look at the Wii/ps3/360 generation, I don't think the Wii did that bad in terms of games. the only games I truly hold in high regard on those systems are the bioshock games and the batman arkham games, apart from that I found the library of game pretty "meh"

I much preferred the 1st and 3rd party exclusives that the Wii offered. The problem was most people bought, just dance, carnival games, and rubbish like that, if you buy garbage for any console it will seem like garbage. what they should have been buying is the metroids, redsteel 2, no more heroes, tenchu 4, silent hill SM, xenoblade, last story, tatsunoko vs capcom, and stuff like that.

If the same thing happens in the US, ubi soft will pay close attention.

This is extremely good news for the Wii U, especially for a game that was delayed in favor of the other platforms.

I will definitely be picking this game up (on the Wii U of course) once I'm done with splinter cell and W101

Only 30k copies were shipped for japan, and guess what ? it sold 30k copies in japan.

And in the UK, when you have GAME only getting in 3 copies of the game per store what do you expect ? But on a good note, every store I went into were sold out and I had to order my copy online.

It's up to america now to speak with their wallets.

Anyway, the new Cry engine supporting the Wii U is a major plus and great news for the system.

Nice to see my most anticipated game of 2013 is looking better and better all the time.

The Wii U is my console of choice, so by buying the Wii U version I'm supporting it and hopefully that will go towards preventing this sort of thing from happening again.

Not to mention I love off-tv play and having a map on the gamepad, and I know it's a long shot but I got my fingers crossed for the return of the armored suit and all the other features from armored edition.

Its a vicious cycle, don't buy it=no future support, lets prove them wrong.

But I will admit that this is bang out of order what WB games have done and I fully understand why people would get the game on another platform.

Edit: If they removed something huge, then obviously I would have to draw the line and get it on the PS3. But I can live without a tacked on multiplayer mode.

I am a bit gutted, because it would have been a fun little curio to accompany the main game.

But that's all it would and will ever be. I could be wrong but I highly doubt this will be any more then a tacked on feature that will have a small community on any platform.

I'll still be getting the Wii U version because I thought that the Wii U version of arkham city was the best version available. But I do agree with what most are saying about the Wii U version having a lower price.
