Pre-ordered and done. Now the White ones are running out as well. This may be as bad as the Wii at launch from the sounds of things, though I won't hold my breath.

I don't like "mature" types of games, so they won't be getting my money for this (though maybe my mind can be changed on this in the future).

I liked my CPP. It made it easier to hold the system. Though with the 3DS XL, the size would already better suit me on the system already. Will most likely look into this if I ever have an XL

I got the Deluxe because of the extra content it gives me. Sure, if it was only a game added, maybe I would reconsider and purchase the white instead. But when you have the discount and reward program as well as some nice stands, it makes it obvious for me what to go with. I've also had a Wii in white since launch as well. I can take a little shade change.

Pretty much what everybody else says. Some games are legitimate in their pricing. Others, not so much. I can take this $10 increase, but I understand that others can't. I've always loved Nintendo since their SNES days, and that's not going to be changing anytime soon. Also HD Zelda and Metroid will be awesome.

I have stopped trying to figure out Capcom these days. It almost seems like none of their business decisions make any sense. Sure they sometimes have fantastic original games, such as Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, but they are few and far between. And with the cancellation of all the Mega Man games that were in development over a year ago, it seems that they have lost interest in him. At least they acknowledge that it is his birthday coming up. But until they change their tune with Mega Man, it seems that he will be a lost relic. At least Archie Comics is making a Mega Man/Sonic the Hedgehog crossover for his 25th.

@0LD_SK0OL_PUNK But some people like myself would like to be able to have all of their old classics on one system. Though you do make a valid point.

Even though I am an ambassador, I would still like them to put out more GBA games at some point. But for the time being GB/GBC games will do nicely.

This one has always had my interest, but the price holds me back. That, and I have a ton of games to do.

@ajcismo If that's the case, I better pre-order ASAP. I was lucky to grab a Wii 5 years ago at launch without a pre-order, but this time I better play it safe.

Hooray for finally knowing what prices are and release date! Hmm... now to try and play catch up on the news I missed from earlier. Deluxe addition for me.

Well, I can't say I'm thrilled to hear about this. I just beat it not too long ago, and it is a pretty good game. I'm sure it will work well for IOS, but doing stuff like this worries me... Though this won't have the excellent 2D cutscenes in 3D.

Well this will be nice when it finally gets here. Though I hope they don't pull one over us like the Edgeworth one.

Lots of points being made here, and all of them seem feasible. Nintendo will most likely be behind spec wise, but as @ThomasBW84 said, the cost for producing games on even more powerful systems and using there engines to the fullest will skyrocket. This next generation will be very exciting to see where it all goes.

And Capcom really has dropped the ball when it comes to Mega Man. I hope they finally realize people want more games with him in them. The only thing that has even new content for a Mega Man fan is a comic series by Archie.

As for storage, I got no problems with the size. Still got plenty of space on my 32GB SD card.

This was unexpected, but I am pleasantly surprised. I hope this game as well as Ace Attorney vs. Professor Layton, and Miles Edgeworth 2 finally come Stateside. Though with Capcom not localizing the latter, it doesn't bode well...

This seems to be about right to me as far as the basic price goes, though maybe $50 more. The multiple system prices could also be possible, depending on how they handle it. I'll know for sure soon enough.

I have never played this one, though I had seen it about back in the day. Judging from the comments, I may need to track this one down at some point. This will most likely be a remake considering Sega's new position in the industry for now, But a sequel would be nice if they want to risk it. I would most certainly pick it up if they did. As for Smash Bros. 4... probably not.

Color me interested. Metroid style games are one of my favorites.

Demo for me for now, though I will be getting Toki Tori at some point in the future.

I never did Mario Paint, but both systems would suit it well from what I have seen. So, it's a yes from me. I hope they decide to give that a go ahead one day.

Cool! Sadly, I didn't even really know this guy existed till now, and to learn he helped to make the Nintendo Power magazine as well speaks volumes. He sounds like he was a hard worker and very enthusiastic about what he did. No wonder he was one of the head honchos eventually. Thanks Philips.

DLC characters would be nice if done properly. All in all, All I want is someone from Kid Icarus: Uprising, and at least one more third party character.

@Marioman64 True that is. I found some gems that I never saw coverage for anywhere else except them first. I never would have bought some without them.

I'm not sure when my subscription is set to run out, but I think it was sometime into this next year. Such a sad thing to see go. I shall miss it showing up in the mail each month.

Iwata never said there wasn't rich and deep experiences on those I devices. He simply stated that people will still want those rich deep experiences. Both platforms can offer that, though the 3DS is more suitable for certain types of games, And so are the I devices. It all comes down to personal preference really.

Cool, this is going to be a fun read. I can't wait to finally get this.

Ah man... I knew this was going to happen eventually, but now that it's really happening it feels unreal. I have some of the earliest issues, including the first. And I am still subscribed to this day, though their articles were becoming slightly less interesting. Farewell Nintendo Power, I shall miss our time together. Though you did a great job making an awesome milestone.

Wow, that was a bit lower then I was expecting, but could be the fact of retail codes as well. I shall be watching to see how this goes in the other countries.

Take that! As a fan of both series I am really looking forward to seeing these 2 clash heads with each other for a little while. And glad to hear something about it after all this time has passed. Though they should know better, It's not very gentlemen like to keep one waiting in suspense for that long.

@TysonQ7 I know a patch is always possible, but why go through the trouble of fixing it if it is such a small error as that. Maka Wuhu on the other hand adversely affected game play.

This is really a bad blunder, though not really that bad, since everyone will probably just shoot through it. But now that it is out there, there is no way to fix it.
