Re: After 25 Years, The NES Gets A New Magazine

Lionsshare

@James I would buy a NintendoLife magazine. I am a subscriber to Nintendo Power here in the States, but would switch teams in a heart beat. I have thought for a while that Nintendo Power's lack of a decent website has hindered them. If NintendoLife put out a mag, I think it would do quite well. But that's my take. (Also, if it ever happened, it would be awesome if the mag would harken back to the good old days of early video game magazines when there were hints, tricks, cheats and all that great stuff. Ooh ooh, and magazine only competitions. Oh man, you guys would be the coolest.)

Please.

@78 I dislike Goldeneye. It get's no free pass here sir! Fake killing people is fake killing people, and that, as I pointed out earlier, is the pits. I even lump GTA games up in that category. Fake killing Zombies, though, is ok. Ghouls, freaks and monsters too.

Re: Wii U Striking Balance Between Performance and Price

Lionsshare

I really don't care if Nintendo is blown out of the proverbial water by Sony or Microsoft. I like Nintendo games, I like Nintendo products. There is a pretty descent size market of people who are like me. I never cared about the Wii competing with the other two because I liked it, it has everything that I want. So when the Wii U launches I will get it and most of the games published by Nintendo. You can't play a Mario game on a POS-PS3 or an Xbox. You can't play Zelda or Metroid either. You also can't download kick ass games from back in the NES days on those consoles either. I will be happy with HD Nintendo and they will continue to be a great company for at least a little while. So I ask the question, Why do some of you care so much if they are competing with the other two? Who cares if Nintendo "blows them out of the water"?

P.S. The 3DS is awesome and $250 isn't too steep for what it is.

I love it. I'm buying it. All the haters need to go and buy a copy of Valet Parking 1989 because it is the COOLEST game you can download for the DSiWare. (Well, except for Cave Story.) Zordix, I love you. And Iknow we just met and all but I hope you will accept this imaginary ring as a token of my strange love for you. Please make a game about making mixtapes in the 90's and you get points based on if the person you give it to likes it...please.

Re: Following Wii U Unveiling, Nintendo Shares Drop 10%

I have spoken with a few people that thought the controller was the new console. As much as I love Nintendo, I can admit that I think the reveal was a bit sloppy. Also, this controller detracts from what made the Wii so great and I can only imagine that it will cost a pretty penny. Of course time is going to tell on this new console but I don't think it's strange that the stock dropped. When you confuse your' market why wouldn't it?

Re: Review: Space Trek (WiiWare)

First off, congratulations on your first review! Second, oh my god this sounds terrible! After reading this I asked my girlfriend what she would think if the bad aliens in a movie were called knagars, and I had to convince her I didn't make that up! She was pretty PO'd for a second. Why?!? Ugh...why would somebody (Staring at Nintendo) approve this game? Great review!
