... And nothing on the UK Eshop?!

Disappointing.

I'm not sure why people would pay for something they can get free on their phones.

I'm not really a fan of cheap mobile games being flung on the Switch, it degrades the hardware and boats the Eshop with unnecessary titles.

Will we be seeing a port of the first game?... Or should I just not bother waiting and get it in the steam sale?

I can't see the appeal of the game and I certainly won't be loosing sleep if it never ended up on the switch.

Plus, the whole thing seems rather contradictory as other developers have stated they were surprised at how easy the switch was to develop on.

@ShadJV Recolours of the same outfit are not four different outfits nor does it present any real level of customisation. ARMS doesn't promote any form of individuality, which is why a lot of competitive multilayer games are so successful.

I really hope they add more outfits for the fighters or some form of character customisation . It's such a basic feature that all other fighters have on launch (if minimally at first) and I fail to see why ARMS shouldn't have it.

I really hope the sales of Ever Oasis pick up and the game does well overall as it is a really great game and it'd be a shame to see it tank.

I actually picked this game up at launch and would recommend it to everyone, this review reflects my thoughts on the game exactly.

It's interesting how split the reviews on the game are, people seemed to either love it or think the game was rather mediocre.

This video pretty much made my decision to get the New 3DS XL instead. I think the placement of the speakers is a really bad design flaw and I think the system being too light is actually more of any issue than a good thing, I think if a hand-held is too light you're more likely to drop it and possibly break it.

Never heard of this game before but it sure as hell looks awesome!

It's only a buy for me if it comes bundles with all DLC.

I've always found the 3D kind of pointless and actually downgraded from a 3DSXL to the 2DS. So, this is an instant buy for me as I do really miss the larger screens.

I have to say I find it very surprising that Skyrim is releasing so late in the year. Plus, I hope they plan to bundle the game with all the DLC or it won't be a purchase for me.

I'm not letting myself get excited, I'm just going to take anything other than an official announcement as false.

I'm pretty sure they'll know if the game is coming to the Switch and I'm pretty sure it actually won't be coming to the switch. It'd be a wise move to say now, rather than give people the hope it could be on the switch.

The Switch version would involve a downgrade from the other systems and would involve a different team to make a version fully compatible. So... They know!

All I can say is...why just America?

@ThatNyteDaez Ranting is good, thank you so much for giving me some more information on the game. I think I'll give it a try, but I think I'll get it physically so if I don't like it I can always trade it in.

One question, as it's the fifth game in the series will I understand the story or do I need to have played the others?

@abbyhitter I hope you enjoy it, it's not as good as 2 but it's certainly a great game in it's own right.

I'd of considered getting USFII if it wasn't so expensive, I was also considering Disgaea 5 but people have said it's systems are quite complicated which puts me off a little.

@zenarium If you don't mind my prying do you have a 'game type' in mind...?

Clearly Capcom are completely lacking in any basic common sense. They're essentially basing their decision on an overly milked cash cow that they have the nerve to charge ridiculous amounts. Plus, the Switch exclusive features are an absolute mess and reviewers are certainly not being to kind in expressing this.

I'm just patiently waiting for Stardew Valley. I can get the game on other platforms but I think the game lends itself to the Switch's portability.

I'm SO SO SO tempted....but at the end of the day, what is the point? They'll probably just end up sitting on a shelf collecting dust....but my brain tells me I NEED all the Animal Crossing ones * laughs hysterically *

@Octane I have to say I find this rather disappointing and I feel like this has been shamelessly held back for the eventual ARMS 2 to seem like they're responding to fan feedback.

I struggle to want to invest in any fighting franchises due to this bare bone approach. Though, I've been told the game will be updated as Splatoon was so I guess we'll see.

Wow, is that is? Does this game have a storyline/single player or is it just random battles? The size of the game makes me worry it'll face the same fate as most fighters where there is little to no content at launch.

I'll be honest, at first I was kinda like "Ew, why?" ...but after reading about the possible gameplay, who knows maybe it'll be actually decent?

I'll save my judgement for when we see the game in motion.

I'm assuming the game will have some form of matchmaking and isn't locked to whoever is on your friends list. I don't know anyone else with a Switch at the moment and it'd be a shame not to play in Co-op as it is clearly the main focus of the game.
