Really Nintendo of Australia? A week after I spent my 8000 star points on worthless garage thinking they would never put eShop titles up sigh

@shaneoh As usual we'll get nothing, i wouldn't count on it. We might as well get our own region code, these days it feels like we are bearly apart of EU's gaming

Is the first game even out in Australia yet?

I really wish they would add characters from other series, I'd love to see a Chrono or Randy I could level up!

I am a HUGE fan of this style of boxart. I understand it's so different to make it more obvious to uneducated customers that this is for the "new" 3DS only. But I really really like the console logo up the top, and the game picture more of a wide style, any one else agree/disagree?

I was hoping for a Golden Sun character as DLC, but I guess not. Oh well I'll still be buying the WiiU version anyway

I can not wait for this game, I hope replayability is through the roof, cause I can already feel the urge to invest many hours lol

If i had those skills, i would hack my own 3DS and share it with no one. Sure it's selfish, but it's also thoughtful, weekly 3DS updates are not fun for any one lol

@luckybreak you certainly can't play US games on it. We feel that sting every time you guys get a game a few months before us.

We usually get pretty screwed over for gaming. But every once in a while we get a gem like this. Thanks Nintendo AU, thanks so much! Shovel Knight and Gunvolt in the eShop don't even have release dates for Australia yet.

When I brought the 3DS on Launch it was original $300, so $215 feels okay to me. I hope we are able to transfer eShop titles or I won't be getting it though..

Excellent, this is a much better option then buying Bay1 for my Xbox360.

People keep saying that moblie phone games are going to ruin nintendo, but any serious gamer will tell you casual loving games of angry birds or candy crush saga don't match up to full adventure titles such as Pokemon, Monster Hunter, Mario and Luigi Dream Team or Link Between Worlds.

And that's exactly who those examples are aimed at, actual gamers

So here's my opinion, costume changes should be more then just a "costume".

Remember in Melee how Mario and Dr. Mario had the same animation but the properties of attacks differed slightly? (trajectories of the hit opponent were different between the two Marios)

I think a costume change should also change a characters properties in that respect, maybe Female Trainer has a meteor hit on a particular move, but Male Trainer has it on a different move (Such as a downstrike meteor for one, and a upwards/sideways meteor for the other). Adding to the strats on how to play a particular character. I think that'd be awesome..

I'm more interested in getting an update for my Physical ver, even if I had to pay a few dollars for it. I'd rather not buy a whole new physical copy...

LOL DLC has turned into such a bad thing, that a small portion of the internet is freaking out/in a rage thinking it has some ridiculous 'pay extra later for the rest of the game' when instead Nintendo has treated DLC as it should be -downloadable content - for Link's Awakening DX Virtual Console

As usual even though Australia is PAL, we don't get this. BIT TRIP Saga isn't even downloadable.

The sprite work in this game looks fantastic, I would really love it to be released in Australia too

@SteveW I don't think it's about capability. I think it's about making sure that privacy's more difficult on the Wii U, If the Wii U is playing games directly from a USB port, out of the box, it'll only be easier for the pirating geniuses running non-purchased games from USBs in no time.

I'd rather not have to re-buy all my GAMECUBE games digitally just to play them on the WiiU. I'm going to keep my Wii, and turn it into a "Gamecube".

I think some people on this page need to learn the difference between "HD" and "better graphics". Seriously some of the posts just make people look very naive. W
ith emulation on a computer NSMBW and Skyward Sword can both be output in High Definition resolution, it doesn't magically make the poly count of models and texture look a lot better, it just renders at a higher resolution.

I "love" how Australia is on the PAL region code, but we seem to have our own release dates. I was really hoping to play this demo, come on Nintendo we are meant to be on PAL too!

I've said this since the 3rd Gen games when I was 13 in 2003. They should release a full "catch 'em all" Pokemon, without the grid-movement, get rid of turn based battling and have real time 3D movement battles. It would make the combat so much more fun if the AI was tough. Rather then this, "Okay I'll hit you, lol your turn to hit me"

I've beaten KH1, Chain of Memorys for GBA, and 358/2. I still haven't played KH2, do any serious Kingdom Hearts fan advise I quickly go play and complete KH2 before playing this one?

People don't ever seem to agree, but I think the battle system needs a complete reboot. I know a lot of calculations and strategy goes into but Turn-Based fighting has never really been my thing, "I hit you-you hit me" attitude has always bothered me, special when the show doesn't really follow the same system most of the time. "some uses an attack, ash: lol dodgey it pikachu " ... I've always wanted proper control of a pokemon, real-time battling with attacking and dodgeing at will. If done well it would be very fun

As much as I agreee that keeping the "Wii" word in there will help advertise the brand and make it obvious that it plays Wii games etc. I feel like they might have the same problem with the 3DS and people believing it's not a new console and thinking it's similar to a DSi

I think if they do two things need to happen, Link must remain silent but everyone else has a voice. If they have a conversation with Link they can "hear him" much like his text never comes up. And of course it needs to be optional on or off. Some people want it, other don't - it needs to be an option if it happens.

I never played Donkey Kong on the gameboy, but I played the heck out of the NES version, in fact I'm firing up the Wii for the VC version now!

when the colour gameboy came out when I was around 8 or 9 I was given it and this Zelda for my birthday. I was completed in love with it! When I first beat the game, i didn't like the ending at all, I was so close-minded back then, I remember beating it years later and enjoying the ending much more, as I do today

ozgameshop.com all Australians use this site, seriously not even silly advertising this site is epic. Very cheap games and best of all - free delivery, however it takes about 2 weeks to reach you after they post it, but so worth it. They have DOA:D and even got MK9 from this site.

Well not anymore, with Ocarina of Time containing video hints or 'visions' it basically kills all challenge, many people I've talked too say Nintendo are 'bringing down' their hardcore games with Super Guides etc turning them into selling points for casual gamers. I'm not sure where I stand, but they do have a point..

I don't think I like this move, if the controller can be played alone without the TV, then vice vera is possible right? Unless they release a controller without the screen (which is fully compatible with every game) I think I'll support Nintendo with my 3DS only

Didn't nintendo originally say that this 3DS remake would be 'packed with new content' or something along those lines? If a mirrored master quest, boss mode and helpful hints is what they called 'packed with new content' I'll be sort of disappointed. Don't get me wrong, I'll buy it anyway cause I'm a sucker for Ocarina of Time. But I was hoping for something a little more like what thye had planned for the original, with the medallion being used as items etc.

After enjoying Street Fighter IV so much on my 3DS, I'm twice as keen for this game! I love both of the franchises!
