In addition to this, from the 30th September onwards, all Club Nintendo features including signing up as a new member, logging in as a registered member, earning stars and exchanging stars will no longer be possible.

Congrats Aussies!
man they didn't get a single retail title
I think this is the first time downloadable games have been offered to Australia's Club Nintendo (or at least I have never seen any on offer before).
Nothing for me though, I already own the games on this list that I want(ed). I would much rather have the special physical rewards. I have more than 5000 stars for the Australian Club Nintendo and I really hope it will not end up as just a waste of time.
@faint Neither has Europe.
Really Nintendo of Australia? A week after I spent my 8000 star points on worthless garage thinking they would never put eShop titles up sigh
@Nintendzoey It'll be the first and last time downloadable games get offered on Club Nintendo.
How did you manage to save up 5000 points?
Just for being completely certain:
I can still register retail games via the Club Nintendo codes until 30th September, right?
Was a little shocked when I coudn't register Mario Party a week ago, but this probably was due to site maintainance since it worked again yesterday.
Still holding out to see some items return. Would get the Link between Worlds CD and the Mario Kart Shirt if nothing better pops up and those two return. Was too hesitant before.
There cheaper than europe's.
Physical Items would be better
Quite a bit cheaper than Europe but still far too expensive when you compare it to the US store.Seeing Wonderful 101 for the equivalent of 3000 stars in the US shop is what is encouraging me to hold on until the end as I'm sure it'll get another update or 2.If not then I'll get NES Remix and Link to the Past.
They're the same games as over here in Europe, but cheaper. Woop. I feel a bit like a spoiled brat, but those games aren't too great.
... Club Nintendo members = fairly hardcore Nintendo fans = likely to already have the good games on this list.
Hopefully they'll add some more games to PAL regions, but I won't hold my breath.
If Wii Sports Club games were cheaper...
@Liam_Doolan I have been able to save them up since there has not been very many good rewards offered on the site recently. I only have a 3DS but I purchase the majority of my games digitally (more convenient for me as I used to lose the game cards), so I always get the extra download bonuses. There were also many games on sale over the Christmas break (some of them were greatly reduced), which were also worth 400 stars each (for registration and bonus).
I guess I'll have something to spend my left over 7000 stars then
@MadAdam81 : You'll need to have spent around $3500-$4500 on games and consoles to afford the complete Wii Sports Club experience via Club Nintendo.
It's about damn time.
@sillygostly They are 5600 stars each on the UK shop. After buying a console,13 retail games and 10 eshop games in the last 4 months I am still well short of being able to afford Wii Sports Tennis.NES Remix is probably the best value offer we have at 2800 stars ( I think) but the sequel is double that.If I could have got both of them for the stars I have I'd be fairly content.Going to keep them till the end as I think they might surprise us with some great offers. At the same time angring others who have just blown their total on a pencil case.
@OorWullie : But how many stars do you receive per game? In Australia the standard is around 150 stars for a budget game, 200 for a first party full priced release, and 250 for most third party games.
@sillygostly Much the same.250 for retail releases,50 for eshop titles and you get 1000 for registering the console.Never had 150 stars in any game before though. Is that what you get for every eshop title?
At the moment, I have around 16000 stars after I had spent a good day filling out all of the surveys on my digital purchases and redeeming all of my cards that I've been holding on to for all of these years (I easily could have accrued over 20000 stars but many of my cards had already expired ). I've been reluctant to use my Club Nintendo cards any earlier as the stars expire after an 18 month (give or take) period, and there was nothing in the Australian Club Nintendo worth a damn (I'm still peeved that I've missed out on the SNES Controller and Gold Nunchuk).
So far, I've only redeemed my stars on the two Game & Watch Collections, and the Kirby Triple Deluxe, Link Between Worlds, Ocarina of Time 3D, Super Smash Bros. and Super Mario 3D World soundtracks. I had no interest in the Luigi diorama, nor the golf ball set that was released some time ago.
I'm still holding out for more surprise physical rewards (fingers crossed for Gold/Silver Mario amiibo), but I won't hold my breath. Worst case scenario is that I'll have plenty of eShop titles to add to my collection.
I've managed to save up 17,650 stars (as you can imagine it was a pain registering and filling out the surveys for each game over the last few weeks) so I will most likely buy a few digital games, and still have some stars left incase they surprise us with any other physical rewards. I have my eyes on a few of the Wii U virtual console games- Goldan Sun, Advanced Wars, Superstar Saga- and will likely also grab the Pickmin 3D Shorts. I suppose the list could be better, but I can't complain, at least we are finally getting the option.
On the UK Club Nintendo store, I'm reluctant to spend any of my stars yet just in case a cool soundtrack comes up for purchase. I'd be gutted if I picked up some games and missed out on something like a Mario Kart 8 soundtrack.
Also on a side note, I received my Super Smash Bros. CD today! I wasn't expecting to get it so quick after Nintendo's email the other day. So everyone (in Australia) check your mail!
My account history only goes back 12 months, but here's a general idea of how Club Nintendo stars are allocated in Australia…
Wii U retail software (Nintendo published) - 200 stars
Wii U retail software (Third party published) - 250 stars
Wii retail software (Nintendo published) - 250 stars
Wii software via Wii U eShop - 200 stars
3DS games (Nintendo published) - 200 stars
3DS games (Third party published) - 250 stars
Budget releases: Tetris (3DS), Tetris Party Deluxe (DS/Wii), Super Mario All Stars - 150 stars
Wii U / Wii console - 500 stars
eShop exclusive software (including free software) - 50 stars
50 stars are also given to eShop exclusive software that is available as retail software elsewhere in the world (such as Shin Megami Tensei IV, Conception II etc.).
I didn't get any points with my WiiU, is this right, or have I just been unlucky?
You should have a Club Nintendo card in the box, though I suspect that staff at certain retailers may tend to steal them. I have a few games that should have had Club Nintendo cards in the packaging, but for some reason don't (such as Wario Land: The Shake Dimension). I also ended up with TWO Club Nintendo cards in one of my Professor Layton games because the idiot retailers insist on breaking the seal of all software and shoving the manual and discs/cartridges in a draw behind the counter as a security measure. I've even ended up with the WRONG game in the case on two separate occasions.
I have a friend who bought a 3DS XL about a year and a half ago and I asked him if he had a Club Nintendo card in the box (as he was eligible for the free Super Mario 3D Land download at the time), but… nada.
A while ago, I was snooping through the games section at my local Target, and I kid you not, every last Nintendo game's case was opened, and I suspect that somebody stole all of the Club Nintendo cards inside (because the idiots at Target often leave the Club Nintendo cards inside the unsealed cases).
@Tiefseemiez Which Mario Party? If it's 10 then you can't register it as the expiry date is 31st March 2015 however if it's Nintendo Selects edition of 8 or 9 then you can register as the code isn't expired. The rule in general is if the game came out later than September 2014 then you can't register it.
@Grumblevolcano : No, you can continue to register any valid Club Nintendo cards until the end of the Club Nintendo programme (in September 2015). Mario Party 10 is still valid, otherwise Nintendo would not have bothered including a Club Nintendo card in the first place. Incidentally, I've registered mine AFTER April 1st.
Club Nintendo cards will no longer be included with games released after April 1st 2015 (or with reissues of any games after this date), and Club Nintendo points will no longer be offered for any digital purchases made via the eShop after April 20th 2015.
I got 5000 points don't know how to spend it. I had exchanged for a cartridge pouch which is the only useful thing in the catalogue.
I guess I will go for pullblox, bought it before I lost the first 3DS. Damn Nintendo, do the account system already!
@sillygostly All the Club Nintendo codes I've owned for newly released games since Bayonetta 1 + 2 have had the CN card state expiry on 31st March 2015.
I rather they let us exchanged the stars for vouchers so we can get some discount for retail download games. Stop being so stingy Nintendo, I spent over $1250 on games to get 5000 star points, all I get is a pouch and retro games? Playstation Plus is practically giving out free retail games every month!

@LightSamus - you and me both. I got my physical rewards delivered yesterday, after giving up on any hope of getting games instead... <sigh>
@Grumblevolcano : I could have been mistaken. I thought I redeemed my codes at the beginning of the month, but it turns out that I did this on March 31st. If that's the case, then I'm really lucky to have scraped in at the nick of time. Still, Nintendo has stated in the past that Club Nintendo codes will expire 5 years after the product's release date. Codes issued with third party games, however, specify the exact expiry date in the pamphlet.
If first party codes no longer work, then third party codes should still be valid.
Now time to figure out what to spend my 6600 stars on.
Needs more Urban Champion to be a viable list.
Got spare resident evil revelations club nintendo au code 66ALI1OLQQ9ZMBOL maybe someone will use it.
Really? They FINALLY decide to do this... AFTER it's announced the whole service will be ending, and AFTER I've spent the majority of my stars as a result?
Bravo, NOA. Just... Bravo.
@LightSamus
Same here, just not as many stars
@Grumblevolcano
It was Mario Party 10 and as already mentioned I could register it.
So obviously it still works with this game at least in Europe.
