At least they are kinda blunt. This decision comes from the sales department which does not surprise me why they are out of touch.
Sales guys... read the room, the majority wants a complete game on a physical release and not a download script on a cartridge. That's an awful sales strategy.
@Shinnos Totally agree with you. During the 3DS era I was expecting VB games on the 3DS officially but Nintendo didn't. I would have been awesome to use its 3D functionality in that way.
I expected that reason and didn't really need an answer. It's called "Mario Kart" and not "Nintendo Kart" after all. It is normal that characters that come from the Mario franchise is getting priority.
I wish those characters got more attention to detail (especially in their animations).
Sidestepper not holding the wheel, most characters not having a reaction when the blue shell is coming, Coin Coffer not losing its coins through the mouth, like it fells that they good way less polish than other racers (too much in my opinion).
I always pick my 3DS when I decide to go to Japan because in Switzerland, it was generally always a desert. I got way more StreetPass experience in Japan.
In brief, yes I will bring my 3DS to the Nintendo Museum whenever I decide to go there or not.
Completely fine and totally understandable. The PS4 had a similar feature and even there it wasn't smooth and not top quality streaming. Plus it was only one person screen sharing at a time. Switch 2 can go up to four and streaming your game as well. I am not that interested to use it but I can see people enjoying it.
This tech demo is more similar to "Welcome Park" on PS Vita than "Astro's playroom" but the problem is still there.
This software should not need a payment to be experienced. For me, even if this is the cheapest thing they announce, this is the worst announcement and just shows extreme greediness than would make Wario jealous.
@NinChocolate Face Raiders was free on every console just like AR games. You can't even delete those games and could be downloaded through the eShop. What are you even saying ? That's either misinformation or misremembering.
I am lil' worried. I have question about the versions in this collection.
For Gex (1), is it the 3DO version that includes a saving system or the PS1/Saturn that has a password system ?
For the 3D Gex, I think we are getting the PC (CD-Roms) versions due to what I can conclude from looking at the footage in the trailer. I am fine with that (if that's the case). We would get the quality graphics of the N64 and the FMVs of the PS1.
It does make sense. We are comparing a brand new game in a successful series (especially in Japan, the Yakuza series was always popular there.) against a fine remaster of a good Wii game.
Even if I think DKCR-HD is a bit overpriced for what it is (imo), it continues to sell well.
However, I imagine that this game won't be there the coming weeks. Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, Monster Hunter Wilds and Mario Kart 8 would have better sales therefore making DKCR-HD eventually be in a lower position or even outside the top 10.
Maybe this is a hint that the Switch 2 would be able to be played with 2 screens. You put the Switch 2 in the dock and connect via Bluetooth on portable mode and use it just like the gamepad ?
Which technically would be less work on the game but more work on the hardware. It would also extend the number of titles that could be ported.
I ultimately don’t really believe on what I am saying but it is just a thought.

Re: Game-Key Cards A "Sales Strategy Decision", Says Resident Evil Requiem Director
@ButterySmooth30FPS Cyberpunk had tremendous sales so as long as this new RE game is well received and anticipated I think it would sell well.
Plus, not all stores put the recommended retail price.

Once the service is unavailable, this is basically e-waste. I am surprised that nobody is thinking about this.
I also wonder if the Nintendo Labo VR Kit would be compatible with the Virtual Boy... 🤔

I consider this product has an oddity to show and more comparable to a figure.
This is the type of things, that will get devalued a lot years later and you'll find it on a thrift store's showcase.
