"Reggie Fils-Aime also played down the graphical arms-race going on between Sony and Microsoft. He essentially said that's up to them, but Nintendo is all about 'the experience'."
Cool Reggie. Nintendo may not care about "Graphical Power" but you know who does? Every 3rd party developer that exists today.
You know what else they care about? How easy it is to get their game on other consoles and not having to make "Exceptions" for other consoles.
@CTMike Exactly this. I bought my 13 year old son an Xbox One because he has been a HUGE Halo fan since he was 6. Nintendo needs to understand that when they came out, they were pretty much the only players in the videogame market at that time. and there were really only a handful of BIG developers
It is not that way now. I really hope NX will do really well, but that is only if Nintendo can stop catering to their Eastern customers, and abandon their stubborness and build a console for the Western customers. Like it or not, the Western customers is who move consoles. Cater to them, and Nintendo will succeed.
@ThanosReXXX The Last Of Us on PS3 looks better than this game. If the gameplay and story is there fine, but the character models look stiff, old and dated.
@Damo Exactly this. Why spend time on a system that has less than 10 million users when you can release it on another console with 40 million users. I really hope Nintendo delivers a system that developers like. Because if the developers are happy, then Nintendo fans will be happy.
Did it take Blizzard doing this to make Nintendo go "You know what...That's not a bad idea. We have a great franchise of characters as well" NOW a Metroid Movie please!!!!
Just backed my first Kickstarter campaign. I did the Early Adopter $15 dollar digital download. I hope it gets fully funded, because the game looks interesting to me.
Still no physical rewards yet?? I do not like owning digital games. I buy a physical copy of every game that I want, unless it is digital only. Plus, like many have said in other comments, most already have these games anyway.
