This man was the man who created most of my childhood memories. I havent just witnessed the death of a CEO. I've just seen one of my biggest and most respected influences taken away. Rest In Peace Iwata. You will never be forgotten!
I say we all just keep quiet about this whole situation until we get SOLID confirmation from Nintendo. This whole thing is so confusing that there is no point pointing fingers when we dont even know where to point.
@Chaoz I probably would have the thoughts in my mind if the situation constant. On almost any Nintendo news related article here there is always a "Lost faith in Nintendo" or "I love you Nintendo". It's a constant that keeps popping up. Maybe I'm just reading too deep into this. And I hope my comments didnt come off as an attack to you. I didnt mean anyone in particular.
People before: "I hate NoA and everything they've ever done I'm moving to (insert company here). Now: "All of my previous hate is gone and I've gone back to Nintendo" Gaming community in a nutshell right there.
@Aromaiden Im sure the people behind the rumor had no ill intentions and the information given to them was factual. However the amount of confusion they've created is alarming but everyone makes mistakes. And when you're close with game developers like Unseen64 is then most people will take the information as a fact. It's just been a tough week for everyone involved and hopefully it ends in peace when Nintendo get out that direct that they are totally and SHOULD be having.
@Mona-Reggie While I don't agree with him either there is no need to be as rude as you are. I understand Unseen64 is looking a little sketchy right now but do not insult people trying to make sense of whats currently going on because nobody really does at this point. Please try to be civil.
@Weird Well I agree they need to advertise the game much better this whole fiasco was not Nintendo's fault. Blame Unseen64 for rumors that slowly grew out of control. Then people start pointing fingers which really shouldn't have to be pointed.
I just want games, plain and simple. I don't buy consoles for flashy graphics or new and "innovative gameplay". I want a video game, not a movie, not an "interactive experience". I want to sit down and play a game and enjoy my time. And no matter how many horrible decisions Nintendo makes their game developers know how to make games to be GAMES. And really thats enough for me to warrant a purchase.
I understand why people think this is the weakest but I felt the series got better each game. Honestly Superstar Saga was the weakest for me compared to any other of these games.
I get that operation Rainfall was certainly a show of NoA's stupidity but this feels so much different. Time has passed since then and I'm fairly certain that the people who thought not publishing it were fired (rightfully so) but at least we had details. Devil's third has been so silent both from Nintendo and Itigaki. I just want some info before I start saying "NoA y u do dis" or "OBVIOUSLY BAD GAME". Assuming doesnt help.
@Superryanworld That really is strange...I've always heard good things about Nintendo support services. I've never heard anything like that. I hope you managed to get it fixed!
@TwilightAngel Sorry for coming off as rude as I did. I really should have been more polite. I've just seen the very same thing said for almost every article posted on the site and I wanted to be vocal about it. Once again I apologize for my rudeness.
@Mus1cLov3r People lose respect for this company every other week on this site. Give them a few hours and they'll be in a completely different article complaining about something else that makes them "lose respect"
@Spectra_Twilight I wasnt trying to say it was bad. It was just different. As in the game was really 3 different games in one. And thats why we love/hate it!
@khaosklub I dont think companies control the amiibo side of things. Im fairly certain they have to give it the "ok" but other than that the amount of figures Nintendo produces doesnt really involve the other companies.
If you want my honest opinion the AMOUNT of amiibo they have to restock right now is probably the biggest problem of this entire situation. There are 100 different amiibo they have to restock around the globe. The smash amiibo is understandable but the Mario range really didnt have to happen at all. The Gold and Silver Mario's dont help even if they are rare.
Point is Nintendo threw out their waves too fast and all these combined problems are causing the amount of amiibo they can restock to slowly get worse and worse. And they arent stopping either! Wave 6 or 7 or whatever we are up to now is coming out in a few months along with animal crossing, skylanders and a special 30th mario amiibo. WHICH COMES IN 2 DIFFERENT STYLES. SAME WITH ROB! They need to remove the Sonic amiibo from their range to stop the speed they are releasing these waves.
@JaxonH The retails arent the only one to blame in the situation. Nintendo always underestimate how many people will buy their stock resulting in them always packaging less than they need. Why they think people dont want Nintendo licensed figures I have no idea but thats clearly a problem that needs addressing alongside the retailers.
@JaxonH Only problem is they arent restocking in larger supplies. Restocks dont matter if scalpers can remove that entire stock in one purchase! And there is no reason to be rude about it!
Probably the most impressive thing about this is how they either bring back old music tracks (or in Marth's case) remix old ones. As a music love I am happy. c:

@hYdeks I don't exactly understand how it's a waste if the game was never going to be made in the first place if it didn't come to Wii U
.
Re: Nintendo of America Confirms Plans to Bring Devil's Third to Region
@daveh30 We only saw small snippets of gameplay from a year ago. Its a little silly to judge it currently without seeing it NOW.

@DarthNocturnal Everything is too early or too late for Nintendo these days.
Re: Nintendo of America Confirms Plans to Bring Devil's Third to Region
I should also mention that Itigaki did say that the rumor's shouldn't be trusted. Feel like that should be mentioned.

Direct! Direct! Direct! Its so obvious!

Re: Devil's Third Will Be Released In North America, Just Not By Nintendo
I have several questions.
Re: Rumour: Nintendo Isn't Bringing Devil's Third To North America
@Grumblevolcano No need to be throwing out things like that. Someone may actually believe that and be very disappointed for the next few months!

@Knuckles Then again no wonder you missed the sonic joke. Unlike Sonic you dont chuckle!
Re: How Fire Emblem amiibo Interact with Fates
@Knuckles Looks like you were too slow. Gotta speed it up! Come on!
Re: How Fire Emblem amiibo Interact with Fates
But they really better stock that Ryu amiibo in droves because that's going to sell out SO fast!

@JaxonH At the end of the day the whole scalper problem took too long to solve. Things like this should be settled in a few weeks not months.
