The Super Smash Bros. series has had some particularly pleasing crossovers - from Snake in the past to the ongoing appearances of Sonic and more besides - but the DLC arrival of Ryu nevertheless feels like a notable high point. In terms of fighting royalty the lead fighter of the Street Fighter series is hard to ignore.

As Masahiro Sakurai explained when revealing the fighter, his appearance in Smash Bros. aims to recreate his most iconic moves from throughout Capcom's franchise history. With that in mind The Game Theorists have produced an excellent step-by-step round-up of this moveset and the origins of each respective attack.
