So true! I gave my 8 year old niece my old 3ds XL because I got a New 3ds XL but she hardly ever uses it because of the damn iPad. Her parents spoil her with too much iPad playtime. She plays the ipad most of the time when getting back from school. She's got a brother but he's even worse. I'm seriously thinking about taking it (old 3ds) back. I don't like using mobile touchscreen for controls very much.

Well I hope it will be Japanese produced because Hollywood will stuff it up like cough Super Mario Bros cough.

Great news about the Wii u sales but still didn't surpass the mighty PS4 and PS Vita. Talking about ps vita - I was in Japan a couple of weeks ago, I spotted two passengers on the train playing their ps vitas. One of them was playing minecraft and the other was playing dragon quest builders. They really dig building games there. Didn't see anyone playing on 3ds but I managed to get 10 street passes 😁👍in 2 days where as I only get at least 1 in two weeks in Australia😒

I was in Japan last week for a few days. There were lots and lots of Splatoon. I'm in Macau now and it's like it never existed here. 😑 Nintendo is completely ignored here and China 😞

Apparently the biggest selling title is The Division which is unsurprising since they're HUGE fans of shooters and overhyped games over there. I watched it on Twitch and in my opinion it looks boring. It's sort of like Destiny and Rainbow Six mashed together.

I saw someone streaming Dragon Quest Builders on Twitch. It's just basically an anime version of Minecraft but it looks more exciting. There's more of a story to it with side quests. Hope it comes to the western market too. Overall, bad week for Nintendo 😭😭

Anyone here playing Lego Marvel Avengers on the Wii U? I just want know if you get the Minimap on the Gamepad when you free roam?

If they reveal the NX this year, there'll be no chance for the Wii U to gain anymore sales. They should wait until the sales reach at least 13 million. Maybe NX is an enhancement for the Wii U.

Call of Duty Black Ops 3 is the best selling game of 2015 worldwide, even after ALL those great games like Witcher 3 Splatoon and MGSV released. This explains the arrogance of the gaming community. I just wish COD would disappear (although it would make a huge impact in the gaming industry) so people can experience what other great games there are out there. Gamers really need to open their minds.

@Boxmonkey In a way they are right about those being carbon copies - GTA v is the same as IV except with massive space to explore and you play three characters. You do the usual missions like drive from A to B, killing certain people, annoying car chases etc. The characters you play are always tough criminals. The Witcher 3 has the same gameplay mechanics as the others but world is huge to explore and same character that you can't customise his appearance.. Fallout 4 is the same as Fallout New Vegas except it became more of FPS focused game and has audio talking. Bloodbourne is a different game altogether but has same idea as Dark Souls series. COD Black Ops 3 is exactly the same as others, just with different skins and weapons.

Why do you keep posting this? We know that British are useless when it comes to Nintendo sales.

Hmmm that's a shame Wii u has dipped below the PS4 but it's unsurprising. You may all realised that most Nintendo games outsell the PlayStation ones. Splatoon, a new ip, is about to overtake MK8 😱😱

@Mario_Fart Yes, that is a shame. I totally agree it's Nintendo's own fault for not trying hard enough for marketing in the UK. We've got a reasonable amount of shelves of Wii U games here in Australia. Not as many as the PS4 and Xbox One but noticeable enough. Maybe Nintendo had a bad history with the Brits'. Oh well, fingers crossed for the future.

Screw the Brits! They have a foul taste in games. They only love Call of Duty and FIFA. Sadly most of the western countries are like that. Stupid age we live in.
