Re: Nintendo Achieves Modest Results in UK Christmas Charts

@shigulicious no not really and why should I? It's just the same multiplayer experience as the other Call of Duty games with a different skin. No matter how much new stuff they add in, it's still the same. The campaign I don't really care about either. I prefer to play shooter games like Plants VS Zombies Garden Warfare because it's different and you feel like part of a team. MAG - now that was an awesome online FPS game as you felt part of the family and everyone respected each other.

Re: Wii U and 3DS Hardware Sales Lead the Way in Japan

Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while but been looking at this site everyday. Great news with Nintendo. Wish it could be the the same for the rest of the world but, no, they just like realistic shooters, hack and slash and sports. The problem with this generation is the games are mainly remasters sequels and reboots - this applies to all three consoles. "Ooooooh look how realistic and gorgeous it is" is the theme for this gen. Overall there is no doubt it will get better in the future but at the moment it's been a little disappointing - not saying it's bad at as there are plenty of awesome games like Witcher 3 and Fallout 4, then again, it's the 8th gen and would like to see more new innovative titles like for example, Splatoon, Ori and the Black Forest and Tearaway unfolded (I know it's a remastered vita game, however, it's the only PS4 game that fully utilised the dual shock 4). I still think the PS2 is king of the Sony PlayStation franchise with that amazing library. I applaud Nintendo for bringing out as Splatoon as a innovative fun shooter - I haven't bought it yet because it's a little out of my price range. Same with Mario Maker. Might get them during stocktake sales.

Re: Nintendo Serves Up An Infographic For Its "The Time Is Now" Wii U Campaign

@Savino of course it's Nintendo's fault (but it's also the person's fault for being close-minded)! They really need to up the ante on the marketing. PS4 and Xbox One first party exclusive games aren't as top quality as Nintendo's but because they (Sony and Microsoft) have excellent marketing, they are selling better.
My favourite PS4 game is Don't Starve, an indie game 😂 and Max: the Curse of Brotherhood on the Xbox One, another indie game 😂. As we all know on here, third party drives the support for those two consoles and there is nothing really special with them at the moment but, as I said, it all comes down to great marketing and hype.

I'm just wondering if people are avoiding the Wii U because they don't want to be weak. For example, at school a kid says "I got a PS4" gets wowed then a kid gets bullied and laughed at by when says "I got a Wii U". Gamers nowadays... SHEESH!! What makes me SO annoyed is when I asked people if they own a Wii U and they reply "No! I'm too old to play that console" People need to learn that Wii U is a not a console for kids, but a console for ALL AGES that is kid-friendly. Nintendo really needs to turn up their image a notch. They really need excellent marketing to show that the Wii U is a MUST HAVE console! It's never too late.

Re: Research Firm's Black Friday Data Shows Wii U Lagging Behind in Sales

So sick of all this negative Bulls..t! I love my Wii U. I think it's an excellent console. Better than the other two in terms of fun games. Sadly the world have lost their taste in great games and now crave big AAA blockbusters. I just wish people have open minds like they used to. You noticed there are mainly first person shooters and sports games on the PS4 and Xbox One - nothing new. Nintendo needs to up the ante on their image if they want to get more customers.

Re: Sony's Shuhei Yoshida Says Nintendo Provides Balance In An Industry Obsessed With Military Shooters

@Gamer83 Hahaha I was expecting you to say that and I respect and agree with your judgement up to a point.
Yes! Nintendo have fans that say horrible things about the PS4 and Xbox One but they are NOWHERE NEAR as bad as what Sony and Microsoft fans say about Nintendo.

Also Nintendo has been around in the gaming industry for more than 30 years so of course there are going to be faithfully loyal fans that don't care about the other two.

I've been doing quite a bit of research into this, looking at websites like this, IGN, GameSpot, Wii U Daily etc.
Nintendo gamers are open minded to other consoles.
From what I've seen, I don't see as many Nintendo fans saying "PS4 sucks" or "Xbox One sucks" than Sony and Microsoft fans saying "Wii U is a kiddie console". I've been seeing alot of Nintendo fans saying "I might plan to get an Xbox One/PS4 in the future"

Did you know Nintendo were first founded in 1889 as a playing card company? Amazing how they have survived and advanced for this long.

Re: Review: Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition (Wii U eShop)

JosieC84

I wish I can buy the Wii U version but the Xbox One got to me first since it was free for gold members. The controls are a bit annoying for example, getting chased by this huge creature and some how I grab on to the wall automatically slowing me down. Another annoying thing is when I jump then try to do the uppercut, I headbutt instead. Yeah the controls can be a pain.

Re: Nintendo Looking To Grow Wii U Audience To Tempt Back Third Parties

JosieC84

I finally bought a ps4. I was super excited when I turned it on but I was quite disappointed after playing with it for a while. The game downloads take longer than my PS3. It was only less than 3 gigabytes and it took 2 hours. My Wii U would take an hour to finish. I don't know what's wrong as they're all using the same wifi connection. I thought the PS4 would be the fastest since it's more powerful but that doesn't seem to be the case. I don't find anything special about the PS4...yet so I still favor my PS3. PS2 is still king of the Sony consoles.
