I have had about 2 locks up since I bought the game, not game breaking though, I play this a lot.

Sega and Nintendo should marry and become one company. Hell with all the Sonic and Mario games (including brawl) and the impact of PSO on the Nintendo Gamecube, I would like to see these guys form a super power together

I would have bought it / Will buy it whether is comes as DLC or a a third version of the game for Wii U or PC.

They probably will track these down by first arresting the buyers and the going getting info to they get to the sellers. The serial numbers off all computer related equipment is always tracked.

Although I would have preferred this on a console, this does look very good.

Sounds like Crysis 3 will be another Steam sale purchase for me once the game is 9.99 or less.

Nintendo needs to up their game production (as in development. They do not make enough games anymore that are for serious players. The Mario sport games and party games are fun, but is the Metroids, 3D Mario's and Zelda's that sell systems. And were is Gyromite HD

Truthfully I am surprised launch was not even worse with the game selection that was available. The only reason I got mine early was because I really wanted to have it early to help Ninty succeed with their console, but as far as games, there is sadly not much on the console I have not already played.

Still remember the screams when I picked up my son from grandma's and he saw the Wii U box in the middle of the minivan.

I remember last year when the 3DS was new and sales were not that good causing the price drop. I believe the 3ds will sell here in the US alot more when we finally get a real Nintendo game (not named Mario) like Zelda, Metroid, Animal Crossing, or of course a real Pokemon. Mario sells but has a kiddie stigma to it.

It they get reimbursed by insurance its a win for Nintendo.

Chances are that the serial number of those consoles are recorded some were and Nintendo can have law enforcement recover them if the users register them.
Also Most likely the company (their ins comp) who had them in custody are responsible.

Nice, that did not take long for a reply. But people in not need to remember that kid playing Manhunt and then taking a 7 year old to the park and killing him a in violent manner. Or the college campus shooter few years ago who favorite game happened to be Call of Duty

I hate to say it, but I do believe that violent games spawn violent behavior on immature people. As much as I love shooters, I don't make them available to my son because the damage games like that do to innocence. Shooter and violent game fanboys can stick up for them as much as they want, but fact is fact, these games do spawn violence.

Anyone know if it is hard plastic off a soft plastic. And does it come off and on without damaging your console, it does not have any info really on the page

For those who don't have one yet or can't open it till Christmas, your going to love the system. Reggie is right, people on Miiverse are loving this system, and I love mine as well. Can't wait for March 30 (Monster Hunter)

Processor speed means nothing, I have a Intel i3 runnig at 1.2mhz that outperforms pentium 2.4 dualcores. Not to mention that low voltage processors can be overclocked to perform even better. We do not know what the design of the WiiU is programmed to do and by them simply increasing the buss speed that 1.2 of theirs can reach 2.0 ghz and be perfectly fine. And with there GCGPU alot of the work load will not even be on the processor anyway.

Considering there is no killer app (and nothing announced really qualifies for a killer app, sales are doing good. These will desperately need a push from Zelda or Galaxy after Christmas however. I bought mine looking ahead to Monster Hunter.

Only Best Buy had the Basic in NC, Target, ToyRus and Gamestop were all sold out Saturday morning. The Deluxe was sold out at even Bestbuy and they only had 3 Basic sets after I walked in. So yeah, its selling out fast.

The Demo "Ruin"-ed the sales for this game. But saves all of us from buying this crappy game
