@Cruznbaby85 omg I want it so bad nut hopefully it comes out I December when the release of games isn't coming as fast. I already have so many games I want eight now that I don't think my bank balance will tolerate any more 😂
Super Mario Odyssey Xenoblade Chronicles 2 The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim DOOM L.A. Noire Resident Evil Revelations Collection RiME Batman - The Telltale Series
How the heck am I supposed to pay for all of these
Yeah this is doing well digitally at least. It climbed from nowhere to about #12 on release day. Was #6 yesterday and #3 today. I reckon it will sell fine all said and done. I assume EA get to see digital sales as well?
Well I can say this much. I walked into GAME on fifa launch day and picked up the last copy they had in store but I had to ask for it at the counter because it wasn't on the shelves and when I asked for it they said it was preorder only until they realised they had one left. So I can only assume that EA didn't really release many physical copies for switch.
It's so stupid how people just pick marinas side because they don't like pearl but that's where rje worst players end up it seems. It was clear to me last night after a few games that Invisibility was gonna lose.
@EDF might be a hand held but it plays rhe best looking zelda game I've ever seen.
I'm sorry but if it can play Co sole quality games then I'd class it as a hybrid. A home console you can take on the go. Just because you can play it without a TV doesn't make it a handheld. You could play the wii u without a TV and only the gamepad but that wasn't a handheld was it.
@Anti-Matter how incredibly ignorant. There are plenty of people in the UK supporting Nintendo but maybe Nintendo should actually ship some consoles here then. They are consistently selling out around my area.
I think in about six years they should release a dedicated home Console to rival Sony and Microsoft and use the switch has a handheld only. It's plenty powerful as a handheld to see it easily through a decade of support at any rate.
Nahz. I was just stating that at least everything you are complaining about isn't really valid bar a couple of things that you said. I mean for instance you think they should keep online play free but charging for it like Microsoft and Sony enables them to spend more money.
Where is your logic of keeping it free coming from?
~ apps - you don't need these right now. It is after all a games console. Whether or not people want apps will affect their decision on the purchase but clearly more than a few people are happy to have it as a game console only. Myself included. I have my phone and smart TV for all the apps I need anyway.
~ a browser - again, I have my phone and smart TV as do most people now.
~ Virtual Console - no. You expect virtual console because you've had it for the last two generations. But really. Do you need it? Again, no.
~ Miiverse - No One wants this do they?
~ Street Pass - I agree this would be nice but again you don't really need it.
~ Netflix - This comes under apps and I've already stated my feelings. You don't need it. You have Netflix on your TV/computer/phone and you can stream to a TV now too.
~ decent memory storage - maybe but that would lead to an increase in price. Do you want that too?
~ backwards compatibility - that's easy to implement but does anyone actually buy a console for backwards compatibility? Didn't think so.
~ decent battery life - it's 3 - 6 hours. Around 3 hours for a moderately powerful game. That is not an issue at all. It is after all first and foremost a home console and if you really want to increase battery life, buy a power case.
~ Wii U ports being budget priced - I don't see why they should. Anyone who already owns the wii u game already has the wii u and doesn't have to buy the game on the switch. It actually makes sense from a business standpoint to sell it as a new game considering especially that the wii u didn't have a wide reach in the first place.
~ a microphone - buy a headset.
~ a camera - no one cared about that. The ps4 and the xbox one don't have one but can be purchased optionally I think.
~ a D pad on the standard controller - There is a reason for there being no d-pad on the joy con and it's so that when you hold each joycon they feel the same, especially since they can be used as separate controllers in multiplayer games.
~ analogue triggers - again these don't matter unless you are playing driving games really.
~ ability to transfer saves or cloud storage - I agree with you on this one but Nintendo have acknowledged that there is demand for this.
~ free online gaming from next year - why keep it free when every other console out there charges? And really if they make money from online subscriptions then that can be spent on other places like paying for better 3rd party games on switch or buying the components for the switch they need to keep up with demand.
~ Youtube - you legit don't need this on your Console. It's a game Console for christ sake. Not a multimedia device. You have your phone for this.
~ real AAA 3rd party support - most people who buy a Nintendo console buy it for Nintendos games. AAA 3Rd party support is a luxury.
~ a second screen - that worked so well with the wii u. Clearly not. Why does it need a second screen? This is basically what the DS series is.
~ cutting edge technology - again who says you need this for a successful console? Look at how fast the switch has sold. Even faster than the Wii and people know it's not as powerful as an xb1 or ps4. Nintendo consoles really are about the fun and do you really think increasing the price and size of the device to include cutting edge technology is the correct answer?
~ normal voice chat - yes the switch needs this but proper online chat etc... Is a few months away and we still don't know the official way Nintendo wants this to work.
Almost every point here I straight up gave you the reason that it isn't needed.
You need to understand a lot of things about Nintendo which you clearly don't.
I assume you don't own a switch? I also assume you have no intention of getting one.
Oh and I also guess you get off on trolling Nintendo comment areas because you have nothing better to do.
It's funny. I hate football. It's my least favourite sport to partake in but I love playing football on consoles (mainly cause I'm better playing it in the computer) and it's fun of course. This fifa looks fantastic of I'm honest. Sure it's not as crisp and clean as the ps4/xb1 versions but it does look very nice and from what we've seen it plays well too. All the modes that are included are the exact same as the other versions minus the journey mode but they've included a different mode ad a replacement that isn't on the other versions (I think I remember reading that somewhere). It's got all the modes you need to have fun and play it enjoyably until the next iteration of fifa come along. It doesn't seem half arsed at all. Imo if you like fifa, own a switch and like the idea of being able to play it portable then snap it up cause it seems like fifa for once tried to genuinely give us something different but at least good and not half arsed.
@NEStalgia I know ps4 sold 14.2 million or there abouts so if Nintendo can sell the amount of Units they are aiming for then they should almost reach that and outsell xbox one in the process.
If the switch can keep up this momentum though they should easily garner a bit more 3rd Party support.

All I constantly see is doom & gloom coming from you. Just be glad there are games you want.

Re: Nintendo Switch Has Sold 4.7 Million Units Worldwide
@TheMadPolarBear Nintendo is only shipping about 40k units per month to the UK but the UK usually isn't a very viable market for Nintendo.
Re: "Lack Of Buttons" Might Prevent LawBreakers From Coming To Switch
@Dakt they did say though that they could probably get it on xbox one too and that does have the same amount of buttons.
Re: Nintendo President Tatsumi Kimishima's Approval Rating Grows 10 Percent
@electrolite77 you cannot know that for sure. Coming from the switch it could work. Just dot fumble the ball like they did wit the Wii U.

Has anyone realised that the switch outsold the ps4 & Xbox One after their respective first 4 Week on sale worldwide?
Switch 2,740000
PS4 2,477,217
Xbox one 2,224,826
Wii U 1,657,852
